The processing time as mentioned on the IRCC website starts after the biometrics. When did you give the biometrics and from which country?

Not yet. I submitted application on 16th June, did biometrics on 12th July. No updates so far.

Does everyone receives the message that their eligibility review has started? I provided biometrics on 12th July but no update on starting the eligibility review.

If we hear about Visa decision in July-end and then send the passport, how much time it takes in the US to receive the stamped passport? Also, is 41 days counted from the day Biometrics was collected or from the day of submission of the application (which is 16th June in my case)?

My timeline below. When can I expect to receive PPR (request for passport)? Location - applied from US June 16th - application submitted July 1st - BIL received July 12th - provided biometrics July 13th - biometrics updated Awaiting PPR.

Thanks for your comment. Is there a way to now upload some additional documents in support of my applications or it is now possible only after a request for additional documents comes?

In the application my current residence is US only. Not sure what went wrong that my applications are stuck in background verification for almost 2 weeks now. I have seen that if you apply from US then the Biometrics email comes within 2-3 days.

I mentioned in my application that I am living in US as my visit to India was a short visit. If they consider as applying from India then it's unfair.
