2024 PR Application timeline

I recently received a request to undergo a medical exam for myself and my family, who are all currently with me. This came as a surprise because we already completed our medical exams when we applied for refugee status in November 2022.

Is it common to be asked for a second medical exam within such a short period? Has anyone else experienced this? Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I thought I want to share my whole experience with people on this site because whenever I was nervous I used to come here to read people's experiences and get comfort from that. So here it is:

NOD : May 9 2022
Applied to PR: May 12 2022
Application received: May 30 2022
First Portal Email: April 2 2024
Second Portal Email: May 20 2024
eCOPR available for download: May 28 2024
PR card: June 30 2024

It was a long wait but worth it at the end. Good luck to you all !

Do you know how much longer you have to wait to apply for citizenship?

Can I apply for PR online after asylum gets approved ? Is it beneficial over sending paper documents? Please let me know. Thanks in advance
