Hi,
Can anyone confirm that there is only one AOR received by Sponsor and after this AOR PA can apply for a work permit?
Thank you.

How are you guys doing?
Has anyone got updated after pre-arrival letter?

Sponsor: PR
PA: Korean, inland, PGWP, no dependents
Submitted: February 7th, 2024
AOR: February 27th, 2024
Medical Request: March 9th, 2024
Biometrics Request: March 13, 2024
Eligibility completed on tracker: March 20, 2024
Pre-Arrival Letter: March 21, 2024

I have a work permit which is valid till the middle of August.
Do you guys think I need to apply for the extended work permit?
Honestly, I thought I get it before my permit expiry but looks like process has been slowed down

Best to either extend your work permit or apply for a SOWP. The processing time was 9 - 10 months when we applied in February but individual timelines vary quite a bit. I've seen people get theirs in 4 months while others its more than a year.

Hey, good morning everyone. Got a simple question: In process did the way IRCC contact you changed, did it take any other form than email or was it always an email? Like did you get just notifications in GCkey that did not generate a notification email or like phone calls? The reason I am asking is, has been a long time they are dead silence, which starts to make me think maybe I missed something?

I feel like since BG check changed from not applicable to processing on GCKey it either means there will be a final decision soon or it’s an eternal wait from here. Probably the latter
any update for you ? BG completed yet?

Hi everyone,

I applied my inland spousal PR on May 15 and received AOR on June 5. I am wondering where could I track my application with the UCI received?

My husband is a PR and I am on open work permit.

Hello, my spouse is also inland. I’m curious how long the AOR will take, hopefully not too long. I’ve heard people say up to 2 weeks.
