My PR card arrived today. That was quick. It just took 5 weeks to receive the PR card. No update on Citizenship though.

So after a long wait, my background finally cleared on Nov 16th. My application has not been touched since March 21st 2023 so I am super happy things are moving again. I now have citizenship test + background check completed, rest still in-progress. Should be done very soon I hope.
Seems like there are bunch of us from the Nov 2022 thread still waiting for the next step, and I believe majority of us are still stuck in Sydney

How long is it taking right now to get citizenship cert after oath? My oath is on Dec 11, still don't have an email so I don't know if it's in person or on zoom but I am travelling somewhere on Jan 15. Do I have enough time to get the certificate and passport or should I request them to postpone my date after my trip?
You will get an email invitation a week before your ceremony telling you if it's in person or not. You can tell the agent during your oath that you need it quickly since you are traveling.
The e certificate will be available 2-5 days after your ceremony.
If you make an urgent passport request you can get it by the end of the next business day.
You should be good to go on that travel date.
After your oath form is submitted and processed, you can retrieve your certificate here if IRCC hasn't sent you the link

You can also find out by calling them, ask what your primary and secondary office is.
Once you get the notes, check the 'Paper file' section to see where your file is currently at
