So after a long wait, my background finally cleared on Nov 16th. My application has not been touched since March 21st 2023 so I am super happy things are moving again. I now have citizenship test + background check completed, rest still in-progress. Should be done very soon I hope.

Hi, how long did it take for people to receive the letter pdf of COPR. I landed early this week and became a PR, still nothing is showing up in email or in GC key. Not sure if I should be worried or not. Agent yesterday said wait, but all they have been saying for the past year is wait soo :P

No documents. I was landed automatically. That is why I was confused and had to call the center. After medical exam it said: You entered canada at Etobicoke IRCC office on xxxxx and became a permanent resident.

Did you end up getting your COPR ?

I called because I did not receive any email although I see that I am a permanent resident on ECAS and I see the COPR document on GC Key. Decision made was 1 day after AIP, literally went from "eligibility not started" to DM in 1 day. Landing was same day as DM.

COPR will come by email, and then the same document will be available for you in GC key after a few days. Depending on your location in canada, you are either automatically landed or IRCC will call you by phone or send you an email to get some information. Etobicoke for example are landed me...

Thanks, just sacked my representative. COPR showed up in my GC-Key. For anyone reading this, if your case is simple, DO NOT HIRE REPRESENTATIVES.

How do you know if your file is transferred to etobicoke ?

We just got the SA email but no AIP yet!!! In general, do they not give AIP and SA at the same time?

Sorry for that, the process is extremely opaque and we probably can't do anything except wait. Anyways, your application's security screening should be straightforward, you are from a commonwealth country and a member of the 5 eyes.

Can I ask where you are from originally? If we are really under security screening, it can take from 6-12 extra months of processing.

Same here, eligibility has not started yet. Most likely we are in it for a longer wait than other november applicants, I think we are going through security screening. It is unfortunate and frustrating but we literally cant do anything about it. I spoke to a lawyer, we just have to wait.

Hi who else on this thread has not received any replies since medical exam received? I just want to check the number of November applicants still waiting for SA/AIP.

What I have learnt is that every application is different. Eventually if you are "normal" with no issues with your background, the PR will come. Unfortunately, the speed at which your application gets processed highly depends on your country of origin, the religious group of your home town...

Same here, they have not even started reviewing my eligibility for some reason. Its getting very frustrating.
