Paper certificates can be mailed out even when it's a virtual oath. So it could be virtual or in-person. If everything is completed, call and ask the agent when you can expect an oath date, also send an email to your processing office.

They didn't let us in though we arrived 90 minutes before closing time. Would be nice if it's the old version when we end up getting it, but I doubt it.

We got to download our certificates 2 hours ago and rushed to Harry hays for our passports, they said they were done for today! Now we have to go back again on Wednesday!

We sent the oath forms right away and it's been 3 days since the oath but still waiting for our certificate. Hope we receive it before Jan.

Once it is passed 16 months, call and let the agent know to take down notes, then they will pass the message to your processing office to act on it. You can even call them now and again when you reach 16 months. You may come across a better agent this time.
