Hi, I have a question for anyone who has their Canadian passport. It says on Page 3, I have to sign to make the passport valid. Did any sign on it? Also on Page 4, it ask to write permanent residence details(street, province and country) and contact info of person in emergency cases. What if I don't have a permanent residence and move to a different address?
Sign is needed. Emergency case one just ignored for the time being.

You MUST sign your passport for it to be valid. Parents should NEVER sign their child's passport -- this will make the child's passport invalid and you will need to apply for a new one.

Writing your address or Emergency contact is not mandatory but it is highly recommended you do. If you don't have a permanent address - write your current address. If it changes, cross it out and write the new address. Never use correction fluid on your passport - it will make your passport invalid. If you run out of space on your address page, write it on a blank piece of paper and use a paper clip to affix it to your passport. Do not glue or staple the piece of paper to your passport

Great!! Thank you very much!!

Hi Sandy, for surrender ship Certificate, what date did you put for Foreign Nationality Acquisition Date (DD/MM/YYYY)* is that Oath date, or Passport date of Issue?
Oath date. As that will be same as of your certificate.

anyone else still stuck on LPP with test cleared in Feb? I wonder if these guys are just inefficient? Normally, applications are processed on first come first serve basis but I see people who applied in Dec 22/ Jan-Feb 23 already got the oath requests. I sent 5 web forms and even got the MP involved and it has been useless.

Did you ever had a chance to ask IRCC folks if your application is a routine or non-routine application? This makes difference in terms of timeline.

I received my Canadian passport yesterday.

For all of you still waiting I hope you get yours asap as well. I have been on that side and I know exactly how it can feel. Wishing you all the luck and speedy process
