I completed my virtual oath on June 6. Still waiting for tracker to update to closed. Vancouver office (oath was with Calgary office?) any idea how long this is supposed to take?

Dear All - Happy to inform you all that we completed our oath last week. My wife had an in-person oath (Mississauga office) on 26th May. My kids and me had a virtual oath on 31st May.
We opted for e-citizenship certificate instead of the paper certificate as we had immediate travel plans and we received it on the next day itself (1st June)

Virtual Oath Ceremony --> May 31st 2023
Certificate Received --> June 1st 2023

How did you request for the e-certificate? Did you request it at the oath ceremony? Is there only a set reason for which they will provide one of these e-certificates, as compared to a hard copy? Thanks.

No it is not a system update. You should see some changes in status or someone worked on your file

How long have people waited for their tracker to change to “closed” after oath? It’ll be a week since oath tomorrow for me.

I still haven't got my LPP complete. Majority of the others with the same timeline have got their LLP complete or even Oath scheduled. I am a bit worried here. Any suggestions on what I can do?
Have already reached out to my MP and submitted a webform. This whole process is so frustrating with zero transparency.

You are already doing what needs to be done (MP, webform). Waiting is the only way

I also did my virtual oath on June 6 via the Scarborough office.

Like you, I am waiting for the tracker to update to closed. I was under the impression that this step only takes a day or two. Looks like more waiting...

I thought the same thing as well. My oath office is calgary. Let me know when you see any changes I guess :/ more waiting..
