Hello everyone

I'm an American citizen with a girl-friend/Common-Law living in Quebec.... that is She is...
I'm currently living in New York. I lived with her in Quebec two years ago for 18 months.

I had been excluded from Canada from July 2009 to July 2010.
I'm wanting to apply for Permanent Residence and/or PNP to Quebec...
But I'm confused as how to go about this.... Family Sponsor/Quebec Section request/PR...etc...
I need coaching on this.... Also where can I pick up a form... while visiting Quebec?

First of all, u can find all the needed forms on the official immigration site of gov. of Quebec http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/index.html

Second, I guess u/ur common-law partner can apply under Sponsor cat.
You can find all required docs/steps on http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/immigrate-settle/sponsors-sponsored/index.html

Hey money..

I am a bit confused..ur visa has been issued on 17th. Sep. 2010 and will expire on Mar. 2011?!
Valid for only 6 months?!! That's weird!!
I've never seen PR visa expires in less than a year!

Anyways, I believe u still can manage to travel after the wedding & before the visa expiry date (which I still wonder about).

Absolutely, enjoy good times and your sister wedding cake. It is a time where all family members get together and celebrate, ask for their prayers and blessing for your new life here in Canada. Do all this but make sure that you get here before your visa sinks in March water my friend. Take care and my best wishes to your sister and her future husband.
