i got a mail today indicating cancellation of my interview. They hav some operational prob. Thought shud let u ppl know.. So my journey continues ;D

I got an email from someone asking me about this very same issue of postponements and so on, I can't believe it. Better check my email too bro. I have already made travel plans for next Friday, I hope they dont do that to me too.

Guys i have no clue..no date mentioned...so i dont know ...but they have wriiten in the letter that rest assured we are working on the file...to be honest guys i was happy with my interview..but since i m already working...and dont have any marriage pressure(Quite young) ;D i ok with some delay as mentined before...its better i get a YES even if it means delay of 3-4 months..

i am from vadodara and my interview will be on 4 th november 2010 and now i recieved mail from hongkong biq office for postpond interview and nothing else
for what reason they have cancell the interview

Hi Beauhoe,
We already have our CSQ and submitted our application for PR in the first week of October to the VO in Malaysia. My wife is the main applicant. Now, we are just considering the areas we can settle down in Quebec where atleast one of us can find a job of $14-15 per hour to survive. Due to my language restriction, we are worried that it will be difficult for me to find a job and furthermore, i have only 12 month part time working experience. Based on online research, we are thinking that $1,400 will be enough to survive for one month.
I will really appreciate if you can tell how much tax we have to pay on our salary in quebec.

You are on the right track and I will suggest that you guys decide to stay near the national capital (Ottawa). Such region will be Gatineau, Hull and Aylmer. These areas are the booming regions of Quebec and you will be able to find a lot of surviving jobs. Do not let the language becomes a barrier for your new and very promising life here in Canada with your family. A lot of businesses here in Quebec need your skills and expertise of course once here you need to improve yourself and fit in the system but do not site back. I am proposing the regions near Ottawa because if for some reasons you do not want to work in Quebec environment you can have another option to live in Quebec (since it is cheaper) but work in Ontario (Ottawa). Regarding to the tax, I mean it depend on whether you guys have children or not but remember if I can do it you can… With my experiences, my friend let me tell you that this is the best place somebody can plan to be and I promised myself that I am going to enjoy every single part of it. Take things step by step and do not worry about job or tax now. I am sure that before you get here, your apartment, job and people that you will need in that critical moment of your life will be here ready to help you out.

There is a reason behind things that get on our ways during our life time. Make sure that it is what they mean (that your interview is postponed) and take it in a positive way and move on. Maybe they realized that they should not invite you for interview to begin with. Next thing will be that your SCQ is in your mail box, that will saves you times, trip and money my friend. Keep your shin up and we will be praying for you to make it.
