Document checklist does NOT ask for it; but the Q 6F sneakily mentions the need for it. I have also read a couple of times in the forum, that these are mandatory. I guess, this will get fixed by CIC soon; however, meanwhile what are considered work records? More importantly, which of the work records can be considered AUTHENTIC in the eyes of CIC?

> T4 s
> NOA from CRA
> Letter from the Employer
> Salary Slips

Any thing else?

You mentioned everything.

Also, salary slips mean 12 x 4 = 48. Could be 100 in 4 years; if one gets salary every fortnightly.

Would one include them all? That's probably gross?

All of the above, but T4s, pay stubs or NOAs prove you actually worked/are working. I included T4s and pay stubs for last 4 years. Of course I couldn't include all pay stubs (too many), so I picked randomly one every few months. :)

Has the form changed recently, as I see they are no longer asking for work records. In section 6F, there is no mention of providing work records anymore. So does this mean we no longer submit work records in the application?

Do not send pay stubs, thats just annoying.

Can you goto the CIC website and download the latest application form and quote me where does it say that it needs work records. Previously they said they needed, but now its no longer there. Seems like they changed the form. All they need is educational records. So what do we submit then?

Where did you read you need to submit the work records with Citizenship Application. Only with RQ you need to send them.
The form is May 2014 and never has been required to submit the work records (at least since 2006)

You need to prove your work history. As stated above. Good luck. :)

Its there, and no one is going to find it for you. Everyone is sending those, it is up to you what you want to send.

I did not read it. I called CIC to make sure what's acceptable proof. You can also browse this forum. At the end of the day better safe then sorry. But again, you don't have to submit any proof. It's your application. Good luck.

On a second thought, dont submit those, just so we can all know what happens when you dont. So please keep us posted.

I have better idea. You don't have to do what the rest of us did. Just call CIC. Good luck!

Yes , there was mention to work records proof when i took the form print out last week, and was thinking what all docs i need to submit.
Now its not there. I called some friends who submitted before may , they told it was not there.
So they might have changed.

One Qn : My wife has just joined a distance education (not language) within canada , so we should mention this rt? Is the admission letter from University enough.?

here is the pdf: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/citizen/CIT0002E.pdf
