Fast ? 4 months +. with backlogs - cpc is messed up with inventory and hence random dates are seeing approvals - one must be ready for 4- 6 months turnaround..

I am waiting for 197days (6 months +) for a response from IRCC. 4 months looks very fast for me.

I want to apply for work permit extension. M on closed work permit which is expiring next month. So I applied for 204c letter

20240828, Biometrics Validity Letter；
20240829，Approved；

Total: 203 Days.

My application was submitted on March 7, 2024, and it has been running for over five months. I am hopeful that I will receive a decision around the same time as you did. Your update has relieved my concerns, as it seems that most work permit processing times are longer than usual.
