Hi Rajaryan, still here waiting for the results. May I ask in your opinion, what do you think is the reason for the delay in these? Could it be volume of applications? I don't think there are that many applicants for work permit in Saudi compared to Abu Dhabi. As for applications for study permit, the peak season should only start by summer next year. As for Ismailhiggy's application, it was clearance from Canada if I'm not mistaken.

I was looking at average processing times from the CIC and I found this:

For CIC Riyadh, it was 7 (months or weeks)?

I really don't know the actual reason for delay. For processing times, the link that you gave is of the General CIC website.

this link is the actual CIC website for Saudi Arabia. In here its clearly mentioned 6 weeks.

Also if you call the Embassy Land line no and select the option to go to Visa & Immigration Section, there is an auto generated voice message saying that the current processing time for TWP is 8 weeks. Thats how we came to know its 8 weeks not 6 weeks.
I think as ur and JB's 8 weeks processing time is over, you guys can send an email to check ur Application Status.
As for me I will be sending an inquiry on Tuesday as I have already sent one 2 weeks earlier.

@Rajaryan, our application will be exactly 8 weeks only tomorrow. I will send an inquiry a day after that. Now I am worried that CIC Riyadh might take a Christmas break.

@LebronJames, once you reach your standard processing time, you can inquire about the status of your application via email on riyadh.visa@international.gc.ca. Can you please advise your timeline.

if application is in abu dhabi do you have any idea also the email addres and what we can put on the email to inquire?

i sent my application sept 30th thru aramex recieve in embassy oct 1st so till now im still waiting for feedback as i will be in 12 weeks tomorrow, so i want tocheck if i can send email now to know regarding the process on my application little bit worry
