Dear All seniors,

I humbly request to all seniors who have applied and successfully got their Temp Work Permit visas from CIC Riyadh Saudi Arabia Embassy to please please share their timelines and Experiences.
This would really help juniors like us to get an idea on our time lines and our package status.

Also those who had got their TWP rejected from CIC Riyadh Saudi Arabia, they can also post their experiences. So that others do not make the same mistake.

Now that we know that Mr. Ismailhiggy's timeline took 11 weeks. More or less ours would be the same and this means my exit-entry visa will expire on the 9th week. If my exit-entry visa expires and did not use it, there would be a penalty of SR 1,000. I hope that the VO is aware of this otherwise I will have to pay the penalty for myself and each member of my family.

I dont think the VO will consider that.
As most of the things are not in his hand.. We have the e.g of Ismailhiggy.. Some of the things for visa are cleared by the Head Quarters of the Embassy in Canada which the VO cant control.
So we can just hope for best for you my dear friend.

Honestly I really can't tell how long do we need to wait for the results.

Though I would say this idea is a gamble but one way to avoid the penalty is to inform KSA visa office that you want to cancel your exit re-entry visa.

Once done, inform CIC visa section Riyadh about what you did. Doing this you will also received an update about your status.

The other way around is not possible (informing them that you are going to cancel your exit re- entry visa bec the process takes too long) as I also think the VO is not responsible for it.

@ Bugoydpogi74 we are approaching our 7th week with no other feedback from them except AOR....

@JB, I guess we just have to cross our fingers and pray that we get the results at least by the 9th week otherwise I may have to cancel the Exit-entry visa. We could have used the visa to take a trip to Bahrain. Well it's better than paying 4k for the penalty.

I think you can send an inquiry to Embassy and check ur status.. As per their website after 6 weeks of avg processing time you can check ur status.
You can send an inquiry toEmbassy now and check ur status. I am sure they would reply to ur mail.

@Rajaryan, follow-up can be done only after 8 weeks according to the message queue on their telephone although we know that in their website it was only 6 weeks. Thus it was advised by my lawyer to hold until the standard processing time is over.
