Right now we can only sure of one thing, CIC - Riyadh really do their job well

Not yet but they will send an inquiry this week. This is what they told me when I asked if I can send an inquiry.

"It is better if we do it on your behalf. We have already made one inquiry and a second time advised that Service Canada made a correction to the LMO. The Embassy acknowledged the second message. I will talk to Stephen about following up again."

Hi Bugoydpogi74, What do you mean by Service Canada made a correction to the LMO? Normally correction to LMO will take 10 days more. Either they will submit the corrected LMO or inform VO that a correction has been made and updated in HRSDC website.

Did you verify this to your lawyer?

Hi JB, Initially I discovered that the NOC code stated in the covering letter was not the same as the one in the LMO then I advised the lawyer about this. She told me that it was fine as they already requested Service Canada to send an amended LMO to CIC Riyadh. This is all I know about this issue.

This is a very common issue and the lawyer might have taken care of it and would have timely informed the Embassy of the changes.
The only thing to watch out would be because of this change , ur processing should not be delayed.

We are total 4 guys in this forum and I think everybody's NOC code falls under Highly skilled category (0,A,B). Ismail is a good example with 11 weeks processing time. Mine is 10th week running. BG and JB 8 weeks over and 9th week running. So looking at these statistics, we can conclude that as mentioned in the Website , average processing time 6 weeks, I don't think its any more applicable. They are taking more than 8 weeks and nothing is sure in here. We have to wait till the right time comes.

What do you say guys??

I'm hoping and praying the amendment did not affect the processing time.

At the most we can expect 11 weeks as this is the case for Ismail and which is so much delayed already considering that 6-8 weeks is the standard processing time. Did you get any chance to look at CIC Riyadh TWP applicants' earlier? I'm trying to search for earlier forums so we can do a benchmark on what would really be the average timeline.

I got one case a long time ago. there was a guy in one of the forums.. I think his name was "Seal". He applied in Riyadh Embassy in around 2011 and seeing his time i came out to be 50 days processing time. Below is the link. have a look and share your thoughts

I've asked my representative if it is alright to cancel my exit-entry visas before 28 December to avoid paying penalty. I'm still waiting for her answer as it is still night time now in Canada.

I'm also waiting for them to make the follow-up.

@Rajaryan, next week would be the same week as Ismail got his visa. It would be likely that you get your visa earlier or same timeline. Which means we will get our visa after you.

I was browsing also yesterday to earlier forum on CIC Riyadh and last year for Live-in Caregivers the average timeline was 2 months.

yes you are right. previous year the processing times were less as compared to what we are seeing now.
The only thing we can do now is wait and hope for the best.
Do let me know if you get any feed back from ur lawyer.

JB, have you tried getting any status update on ur application??
