I have posted this question two times earlier but no body replied. I am requesting again. I have not sent my original passport with my application. If my application gets approved, do I have to send my original passport to have a visa on it or some kind of other stamp, or it would not be necessary.

Mr rajaryan, I have immigration dealing experience with US immigration department and Canadian Immigration for over 16 years, on different issues. And what I have learnt that when it comes to processing times, you cannot set a law to that. Some times matter could be done in couple of weeks, when it should have taken months and in most of the cases, totally opposite. So I suggest that don't keep a date in mind and put your self under enormous pressure. It would be done, when it would be done. Just relax and try to enjoy every moment of it, since you don't have left much, so make them remember able and not annoying. My prayers are for everyone.

For the sake of the forum members, I will answer your question in English. When I submitted my application package, I only sent original diploma and transcript of records, the ones, which I received directly from my university. As per my representative, these will be enough. I guess in CEM Manila it would be a different case.

In the check list and the website its mentioned that the embassy will not intimate you to send the passports. You need to send it by your judgement. I would suggest you directly email the embassy and ask them when can you send the passports. They will surely reply you.

We dont have any prob to wait friend. But for bg his employer has asked him to join by 21st jan. Failing which god know what will happen.

The situation is not favouring us to wait friend.

IMO if we go back to TWP checklist, the original passport is required to be submitted with your application, not unless you have reasons not to submit it (like you have travels in mind during your process) but you have to give your written explanation on when you are planning to submit it to them.
CIC-Riyadh clearly also mention that they will not remind you to submit it (not unless there are changes for 2013). Therefore it will be your duty to anticipate the average processing time (6 to 8 weeks) and try to send your passport within that period or else they might result to finalized your application without your passport.

This is so true. If not for the deadline, I wouldn't have problem waiting.

Based on ur exp especially with canadian immigration, is is normal for them to take more than usual time to process? I mean there might be some limits right for them? As somebody will be monitoring vo time taken to process. Some. Mile stones for the vo like for e.g any application will be finalized no later than 2 x avarage processing time of the embassy.

You seems right about sending my passport, but when they returned my application the first time and ask specifically what documents they need. On that requirement sheet the original passport option was present, but they did not ask for it or checked that box. I did send my saudi visa, entry and exit page with the photocopy of my passport. They have not asked for anything since they received my application. But would you please let me know whether they mark anything on the passport regarding approval of the application.

I did not send my passport just because my sponsor would not give it to me unless i am going on leave, and if get the passport with a leave paper and cannot leave during the time it shows on the paper because of the process time, still in trouble or I thought when my application would be finalized then I would ask for my passport. any suggestions?

elow agen is it okay if il be getting a saudi police clearance ahead? im still planning to submit my application papers this feb or march before leaving for my vacation to phils in april. I have already a saudi police clearance since may 2012 through phil embassy but im not sure if its still valid. Im thinking of requesting it agen through phil embassy since were going to khobar this jan 10 for the embassy on wheels so that il be passing it already together with the rest of my documents. Or i really have to wait for the canadian embassy to evaluate my papers before getting a saudi police clearance?......thanks....//

are you currently employed in ksa? i am planning to file my application in cic-riyadh, i am just waiting for my LMO. can you pls list here all the documents that you submitted? thank you in advance.

regarding the passport I asked the Embassy before I apply. The visa section told me that you submit your application with other documents and explain the reason not to submit my passport and when they need passport they will send me a message on my mobile.

submit the six months old bank statement of your account.
