Okay. What’s your course of action now? Are you deferring the term and sending a deferral letter to IRCC or wait for their response? would they grant a visa regardless of the delay or we have to defer first?

I will wait until Monday then I'll apply for deferral.

Yes I also applied in Sheridan college.. but now the problem is that I can't register and they want me to defer or apply for refund.. next intake is in September so my whole year would be wasted now if I go for September.

Well going through the same situation. I have emailed them for deferral. I think you should too. Because no matter what, we got our visa (inshaAllah) or the otherway around, we are unable to sit in the classroom, as they have clearly mentioned it. Btw in which program you have selected? And which campus of sheridan?

thats not a big issue i had to waste an entire year too if the end result is you being in Canada wasting that 1 year isn't a big issue

when you filed your application online, how much fee you have paid for visa? i did everything on my own, just took some consultancy while filing the visa. That consultant took only 100 $ which is fee for visitor visa. But study permit fee is 150 $. Getting worried for that. does it work like that? or this is something to get worried for ?

It's 150 CAD + 85 CAD (for biometrics). There's no way it could have been 100 CAD. You should contact your consultant.

Thts too weird... u better confirm it with your consultant... either way your biometrics should also cost 85$..

When did you applied? I’ve applied on 5 December medical cleared on 6 biometrics done and updated on 9 after that nothing yet..

I applied on 6th dec, look you guys don't need to be too concerned about it since my decision could come any day and it can also be a refusal.. so just hope for the best and atleast we know now that they have started working on applications.. either way if it comes late i will still have to defer the admission..
