What does your eligibility, criminality,security say? did u already pay ur RPRF? If you havent, soon you will get the request in the next batch. Things are a bit slow with cic right nw. This too shall pass

I have a question. When we submit the application for PR, is it not necessary to pay the RPRF together with the application? I did so, and am wondering if thats not the case, even if the application is rejected, you won't loose money. am I right! Experts plz give opinion.

now regarding updated letter i have already sent them an updated letter and also i have quite my previous job so cannot go back to the employer to get an updated letter. how about submitting a letter from the current employer as right now i have a full time position. will that work ????

Even if you have quit the job, your employer cannot say NO to provide you with LOE. Your application is being reviewed based on your previous employer and employment duration so i think sending a LOE from new employer will not help. Best bet is to send new LOE from previous employer. Good Luck!

You are right employer cannot say no but they can say to provide the letter following CEC guidelines. My previous manager declined to give me an updated LOE after I quit the job. So I was only able to provide an employment verification letter from HR which basically states position, duration and salary with any physical signature saying at the bottom <company> HR Department.

Well I sent this HR letter along with a cover letter stating the reason why I did not send letter following CEC guidelines. According to my GCMS VO has doubts with employment duration so I had this updated letter along with offer letter from my new company.
