No..but there's a headache of keeping a count on number of days...!! if person wants to travel on vacation !! that's such a headache
It is a bit of a headache to gather proofs of being in Canada. Right now, I just got a flight certificate from airline that stated that my wife had in fact traveled on the dates in her itinerary. Canada doesn't have any exit records and I am gather proofs of it as we didn't save actual flight tickets. When my wife went to her home country, she didn't get an entry stamp. Only her exit stamp. So no proof in her passport when she actually left Canada.
Also working with her family in her country in acquiring entry/exit travel records of her trip. Her country would have entrance date on file and trying to get that for her record purposes. Told my wife, the next time she travel to her home country, make sure they put an entry stamp in her passport. Would save me a lot of hassle like I'm doing now.
I am only doing this now so that I like her to avoid getting a RQ. It would be so much harder to provide proofs going back 4 years at the time of request of RQ.
It would be so much easier if Canada actually have exit control so there would no need for RQ.
