Hi Sziha,

Thank you for answering :) We had copies of our application, but just the night before mailing we had to do last minute changes. We were so stressed after 3 months of gathering of all papers, that I honestly do not remember some details about last night ::)

And just today my hubby (the applicant) got an email, which looks like AOR2. It says it is from CIC Canada and only at the end it shows address in Warsaw.
So is this it??

I think I stress too much. Deeep breath in and out...

Yes, that is exactly AOR2. Congrats :)
I was stressing out in a beginning, because even though I already had UCI (I dealt with CIC before) I forgot to put it on the application. And then I was thinking, what if they will not connect the dots, and the whole thing will get delayed because of that... So I gave them a call and they said it's all fine, they can locate it quickly and it doesn't change anything^^
Anyway, now it's just waiting. Nothing we can do^^

Finally My ECAS status changed into Decision Made ;D
Milesaway,we emailed them and they didn't response and I checked my status today and it shows Decision Made.
I hope the decision is positive and hope to get PPR soon.
But,anyway,I am soooo happy ppl. ;D :D ;D :D

Congrats! Let's hope you get PPR soon.

hi guys
passport request today, yeah! :D :D :D
my ecas is still not changed, so there is no rule here, apparently.
does anybody know how long now? i have biometric passport.

We got the request to send passport copies about 2 weeks before PPR. So my guess would be 2-3 weeks to get your COPR?

That sounds great :)
Hope for same timeline then, but of course we will see what happens ;)

I don't work for CIC or know anyone who does, so that's just my guess based on my experience and from reading the forums.

The annual hot water shut off starts on Monday, so I'll be happy once I get home and have access to a hot shower again!

Thats funny, we were just talking about that with hubby yesterday hoping we get the visa before the Annual Festival of Cold Shower Shrieks starts ;D Sadly, we will have to take part this year too

Mine seems to be going slower than everyone else sponsoring a polish spouse

Its my second time sponsoring a spouse. I was married 10 years and had a child with my first spouse. We divorced due to irreconcilable differences. I met my first spouse on ICQ, an internet based chat program.

I met my second spouse in Canada and we dated for two years in Canada. Eventually he was excluded for overstay. I shortly followed him and we got married overseas and he moved to UK. Then I visited him again in uk since it was taking so much time to gather the certificates and medical. Then finally we applied this January 2015 and I visited him in uk again in march. Its harder to be away from him because we dated in Canada.

Is it taking longer because its my second time remarrying and sponsoring?

if you applied in january, then i would not say it takes long at all so far. I applied in October and just got first information from Warsaw.

My sponsorship just got approved on may 25 2015, which took over 4 months. No notification of a file transfer to warsaw yet
