That sounds like bad information from everyone, the medical results are electronic and my wife's second medical was reviewed immediately! Calling CIC at this stage is probably a waste of time as the matter is now with Warsaw, at least that's what I was once told when phoning CIC for some advice/information on my case. Lastly, why would emailing the embassy slow things down anymore than they already have for you? What if it speeds things up?

I hope you get something soon, I can't imagine fulfilling their request and then hearing nothing at all.
Thank u Mcbeth,,I hope so...
We'll wait one more month and if nothing again, will email them,,,we called the doctor and he told that it's normal,,emedical is valid in the system 3 months,,and CIC reviews the meds within that period,,in our case it's 2 months...
Hope to get news soon, cause I think my case is really taking longer...and because of that my mind is full of doubts now

Thanks!

We got her pictures taken today, so we'll bring the passport to the VAC tomorrow, then we wait. And try to decide what to do for flights. The difference in price is now about 400-500$. So we would have to spend 500 more to have her on the same flight. I'm thinking we'll fly separately, although we'd arrive at almost the same time (2 minutes apart). That 500$ could go towards a trip/honeymoon.
Wish that u both have a safe and wonderful flight and be happy :)

Hi there,
I've been following this thread for a while, but never shared :) We applied for my PR in the beginning of November and my application is also processed in Warsaw, I received AOR2 in mid February, no other contact since then I know its not significant amount of time since I got it so I'm not worried or anything ::) but I was wondering and wanted to ask you guys in which form the embassy was contacting you in the past? Is it usually an e-mail or letter? and if it's a letter do you remember if it's a regular or a registered mail and you have to pick it up at the post office yourself? Please share your experiences with me I'd really appreciate this.
Good luck everybody.
Cheers

Hi
I have got only emails

They have only contacted us by e-mail as well.

We sent the passport on Monday, through the VAC. Now we just wait to get it back, and then buy plane tickets.

We got the passport back today. Flights are booked, but not the same ones, sadly.

Congrats :)

Did Warsaw contact you, did they tell you that they opened your files etc.? Still complete silence here, so I dont't know what to think

After AOR, the next thing we got was a request for passport copies. Not a peep in between. So that sounds pretty typical.

I got my GCMS notes today, which I ordered on March 25th. I sent them an e-mail in the morning, asking where my file was, why I hadn't received it yet, etc.

There was absolutely nothing started in my file as of that date. Yet, a month later, we got PPR. I might order them again soon, just to see what they had to say about us. I'm curious. :D

Also, for those sponsors who reside abroad, it appears that Mississauga doesn't actually look into it that much. The notes said: Sponsor is a citizen residing abroad. The visa office will determine intent to return.

Hi just was wondering what kind of notes you guys order should i do it as well????
and what ppr is lol
Thanks
