Chill out man, it's been 167 days for me and right now I don't give a f**k to this thing.
It's useless to get mad since you got nowhere to complain.

Only that was pisss me off is : they approved my app and old spec of photo and send for printing and then then miss print something and then they try to print again and after that , (140 days ) they decided to ask for new photos ) unbelievable

Yes, I sent my application to LA VAC from Vancouver BC.
You may send you application to VAC and service fee to Lockbox by Canadapost, but only UPS or DHL return envelope will be accepted.

Hi, this information is very helpful. I just wanted to confirm that you applied for PRTD when you were inside Canada?
My husband landed in the Ottawa CIC office on Jan 19, 2016, and they didn't close his file properly, so we waited 39 days for nothing. He had to go to the office and landed again with another officer. We already spend $600 to reschedule our flight to end of May, but if he can apply for PRTD when he is still in Canada then we will do that just in case the PR card won't arrive on time, and we certainly don't want to spend another $600 again...

Yes, I sent my PRTD application from Vancouver BC to El Segundo, CA, 90245
I am going to Vegas during Spring break by Air, so the nearest VAC is located in El Segundo, CA.

Returned back to UK - Jan 30, 2016
PRC Photo Request letter - March 15, 2016

One of the photo requirement is to provide the studio address and contact details.
Since I'm in UK, can I send a soft copy to my friend in Canada so that he can take photo prints from a Canadian studio and mail it to CIC.

Anyone in similar situation ? Please advise

What you saying that will be cheating.
Moreover nobody will verify your photos in Canada. And CIC also can check that youre outside country. So dont lie just send them photos from UK.

I got the mail by post to my friends address in Toronto.

I know several who sent pictures from abroad and had no problems in getting the PR card. Did you call them to follow up before you were sent the picture request?

I didn't do any follow up as I was waiting to complete 2 months.
