01 Nov 2015 # Landed at YVR
12 Feb 2016# New Photos submission request received via email never received any letter
16 Feb 2016 # Photos sent using email print out
18 Feb 2016 # Photos received by CIC ( sent out via Fedex )
29 Feb 2016 # AOR email received by PR card printing with Application number ( still can't access ECAS )
14 March 2016 # CIC agent says new photos received and accepted and that's why AOR email was sent out on 29th Feb and card is under printing and it will be posted in two weeks.

135 days since landing and still counting

How can I ask the agent if my photos accepted and ready to print?

I landed on Feb 20th in Coutts Alberta. Wait time was 38 days three weeks ago, then changed to 39 days then to 45 days and now 49 days. CIC at it's ultimate best. Unbelievable how disorganized this department is. I have got travel plans for mid April and there is no guarantee when the hell will I get PR card.

I'd suggest you to apply for PR travel document. I landed on Jan 24, phoned them last week, and they said that I should call back if I don't get a card till end of March. Since processing times are increased, it's unlikely that you'll get your card by mid April.

Why i can't log in using COPR number? Is there something wrong? Again, i landed a month ago.

there could possibly be different reasons
1-perhaps they just dont feel like updating
2-processing hasn't started yet

PRTD processing time : cic website stated 30 days

My timeline PRTD :
Request Urgent process - Attached air tickets and hotel booking letters

Feb 16 : Send out from Canada UPS
Feb 17 : Rec'd by VAC LA (UPS record)
Feb 19 : AOR by CIC (email)
Feb 20 : Request further info by VAC (email)
Feb 22 : Send out info from Canada by UPS
Feb 23 : Rec'd by VAC LA (UPS record)

Mar 04 : PRTD send out from VAC LA
Mar 07 : PRTD in hands Canada

Hi, this information is very helpful. I just wanted to confirm that you applied for PRTD when you were inside Canada?
My husband landed in the Ottawa CIC office on Jan 19, 2016, and they didn't close his file properly, so we waited 39 days for nothing. He had to go to the office and landed again with another officer. We already spend $600 to reschedule our flight to end of May, but if he can apply for PRTD when he is still in Canada then we will do that just in case the PR card won't arrive on time, and we certainly don't want to spend another $600 again...

PRC received on March 14, 2016
No photo re-submission request
