Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

I suppose that email is a general link they send to anyone who calls the Call center.
In the letter you will have your personal info with application number. It is mentioned in the letter : send this letter with the photos to avoid delay.

If it was me, I would send the photos again with their letter attached (In their own envelope but with express post) and with a cover letter saying the situation. I wouldn't risk waiting for a month and receive the photo request letter again ! depends on you and your rush !

Their own envelope is the different address that the one I sent. I am confused where I should send if by courier.

Nope they can't do that ! Only if they see that immigration mail you photo request!
They email you because you can print that email and send together with photo , so you don't need to wait for request mail , only if you don't print email photo request then delay can hapen .
It's say in email ( in my case) send mail/email together with photos etc..
Me personally I print email and mailed together with form, copy on my passport + visa and stamp in passport , COPR copy, photo with studio address + name and bday date on it .. And I mailed by fedex- on corir cic address and they received and singed .

Congratulation on getting ur PR card. Hopefully I'll get it soon. My timeline is close to yours.
Landed 1st Nov 2015 YVR.
CIC received new Photos on 18th Feb 2016 ( Sent out via Fedex so confirmed delivered)
29th Feb AOR email received by PR Card Processing Center.

Can you advise me , after photos re-submission did you receive any email or any update on ECAS ????

You received AOR on 29th Feb which confirm what ? that they received your photos?

I called them 10 times but they said they cant confirm ... But i have signature of receiver from cic.

Yes. The specification is as below:

50 mm wide X 70 mm high (2 inches wide x 2- 3/4 inches long) and sized so the height of the face measures between 31 mm (1- 1/4 inches) and 36 mm (1- 7/16 inches) from chin to crown of head (natural top of head).

Hello everyone,

I just have a quick question. I landed recently on March 15th 2016. Do I need to do anything now ? Will I receive an AOR/email saying that my PR card processing has begun ? Will I be able to see anything on ECAS ? or is just that we have to wait until the PR card shows up in mail.

I will really appreciate if someone can answer my silly questions.

Thank you Nish13,
now I see , once they will send to production I will receive someth.
Unfortunately, it was mistake to send photos without receiver signature.
the agents told me that once it is not send to production, they cannot say anything , even confirming whether they have received my photos.
Guess need patient to wait

Our PR journey ended.. Got my wife's card too yesterday.
Timeline:
Landed on Oct 17th
Got mine on Feb 3rd
Photo request for my wife on Feb 5th
Sent photos by normal Canada Post on Feb 6th
Got card on March 16th

Just all cic ,very nice guy answer ..
They can see anything after photos is re submitted, only if is mailed out .
He also say that they send hundreds of photo requests.
I ask will they inform me if my new photo is ok etc , he say nope.. And like there is no point of calling after photo re submitted.. Just to wait and they will mailed when they done ..
And regarding his info how they send hundreds of photo req. I'm assuming processing time will go up unfortunately.. As when they received req. photos they will process them sept-October-mov-PRC) first.
