Hi Surivu, you cannot apply for TDPR if you are inside of Canada. When you are onside of the country, you can go to the VFS near you and apply for the document there.
Thank you for the answer! Whenever I called CIC they insisted on having sent the card from Feb 12, and now it's nearly two weeks, I still receive nothing :-( . Called them again, they said I need to wait until 6 weeks for mailing time!!!

My mother-in-law just informed me that my PR card has been received today on their address. Landed 9 Dec 15. Today is 24 Feb 16. I submitted old photos 35x45 upon landing and there were no additional photo request. 78 days total.

Just call cic ..
As I already know my card was send to producing- printing on January 25th ... And still nothing .. Very nice cic lady say that only after 6 weeks ,from the date card was send to producing , if I don't receive PRC to call
Then and only then they will be able to take action ..

So ridiculous! Mine was sent on Monday to production for the second time. So I can complain after Easter if I don't get it then. Such a joke.

Hi everyone,

Just received my PRC today. (After 204 days!! :)) I wanna share my timeline:

  • Landed on August 1st, 2015, at Lacolle border, QC.
  • Requested to retake my photo on December 14th (Received a letter).
  • Sent new photos on December 20th by regular mail.
  • Received an email on February 16th, from Permanent Resident Card Centre – Sydney that my PRC application was received by CIC on August 1st.
  • Found the PRC on my mailbox today with my OLD photo on it (The one that was attached to COPR)!! :-X. The card has been issued on February 20th 2016.

Good luck

Dear Friends,

I have received a request to send photos as per new requirements for my wife along with a supplementary identification form(IMM 5455). When I took a look at the IMM 5455 form I find that we need to provide only the 1. Full Name 2. Date of Birth 3. Height 4. Eye Colour 5. Date of Permanent Residence.

However, I am surprised that it does not ask us to provide the UCI/Client ID no. Don't we need to mention this information in the supplementary form ? Otherwise how will CIC understand/track for which candidate is this form and the photographs ? (We may have a situation wherein two applicants may have the same name and the other details).

What do you say on this aspect ?

Thanks

When I received my photo request letter, the copy of IMM5455 was on the envelop with my UCI handwritten on top right of the page. (I guess you can write it yourself if Client ID section is empty.)

Just called again. The lady said it takes up to one month for the production team to reply so I should get back to them after March 17. I then asked what happened to my case and she told me there's no problem with my case, documents and photos are fine. There might be some printing errors so the pr card is delayed.

I guess that maybe we're the last batch of old pr cards, and then they decided to destroythe old ones so that we are re-queued?

So frustrating! We have been waiting 115 days...

You know what? I'm gonna get my third interim drivers license next week due to the lack of PR card. ICBC guys just cannot believe that it takes so long to get a pr card.
