Waiting for PPR after Medicals - Add your case here

Hello everyone,

I am visiting the forum back after quite a few weeks........I had my PPR on 8th July.......My spouse n child's passports were in India......One of our friend carried them over here....and I mailed them to Ottawa on 30th of July..... when I tracked the Xpresspost today....... I found that they have received my package....

Here is a sample for the notarized Passport authorization letter that we gave to our friend with the passports.....one of each member's passport

RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR SENDING INDIAN PASSPORT NO : xxxxxxxxxxx ( IN ORIGINAL) OUTSIDE INDIA

I, xxx hereby appoint ABC XYZ as my Representative to carry my Indian Passport no:xxxxxxxxx in original to Canada and hand it over to the - Receiver's details

The Original passport is required by the Case Processing Pilot – Ottawa (CPP-O), Consulate General Of Canada, CPP – Ottawa PO Box 9780 Ottawa ON K1G 4B9 www.cic.gc.ca to be submitted within the next 50 days for issuance of immigration visa. The Issuance of visa is time sensitive. It is, therefore, requested Sir, kindly allow ABC XYZ to carry my passport on my behalf to Canada for submitting the same within the time prescribed. The copy of the requested Email dated 2013-07-08 addressed to my wife xxx ooo requesting submission of her and accompanying members' passports is enclosed for your ready reference.

With this message I don't mean to say that it is a 100% safe process......but it just worked for us.....
I wish all our process to wind up soon......Just waiting for the passports to come back n I am off for a vacation........

eCAS status is Decision made...I guess it will be same until we will land....

Did anyone went for regular medicals and how long for med results to reach cic and how long for they update on ecas? Thank you guys

I called the DMP and the assistant said that the medicals have been submitted online to CIC.

It is close to 2 month now, that CIC received our medicals and we did not receive our PPR yet. I can't even order for my GCMS notes as I am in my home country and have no friends who can apply on our behalf in Canada. So worried now. Infact, I went ahead and made payment towards RPRF fee upfront. Not sure, at this time what else I can do. Sending emails to CPP-O is not going to help either. Not sure, what else I can do. Any suggessions???

We have also looked into getting our caips/gcms notes, but luckily we have a few friends in Canada who are going to request this information for us. We looked into it and there do seem to be 3rd party services who will request your notes for you, I just did a quick look on google and found caipnotes.com which seems to be pretty good. Maybe they could help you? Costs $40CAD.

When did you apply for gcms notes, normall its delv withing 30 day from the date you apply...
