Waiting for PPR after Medicals - Add your case here

Got our PPR today!! very excited ;D...funny they sent this email to my company lawyers(they had got our WP extension done) whereas all other communication was to my email id... ???

Congrats...Can you tell me if you renewed your WP after you applied for PR in July 2012.

I'm not sure if my PPR email is also sent to my lawyer who did my WP. But the e-mail has been changed now..so I'm fearing abt tht

congrats for your PPR
which country you are from? and are you a single applicant.i am from India and my spouse is included so the lawyer says as they are on strike that is why PPR is delayed.As the Delhi embassy is totally closed
Any idea about it buddy,both our medicals were done in may

Did you send out an email to CIC requesting them to confirm the receipt of medicals?

I completed my medicals on July 22 and just sent an email to CIC for a confirmation.

Yes, I sent an email to CIC 2 days back(29-Jul) but there is no response yet

Sorry about the delay in response. Actually, i didn't wait that long. Just 4-5 days after my medical was sent by the doc. I guess ERK29 did a very smart thing. He scanned his medical receipts and send it to CIC - just as a proof that medicals were done and asked CIC to confirm if they got it. They responded back.

You, and others, may want to try that too.

I did the same thing today, scanned and emailed the medical receipt to CIC. I will update the thread once I get a response.

Awesome - Yahoo7. I'm sure you guys, including Pckummar, will get a response back in 3-5 days time. And if this was the first time you wrote an email to cpp-ottawa and dont get a response, write back after a week.

I am a July applicant and am still waiting

I don't think its chronological at all anymore.

Yes, if we have learnt anything by now it's that the order is totally random. You got applicants from 2013 getting their MRs before some in July or August 2012. I'm a November applicant and I got my MR earlier this month.

Just have to be steadfast and patient.

Hi Folks, I Got PPR today! Case received by cpp on Oct 1 2012. Med completed on July 12 2013. My son was born in June this year and we added him to our case right after the officer requested any prove for our marriage.

I am wondering if we can book the air tickets before we got the Visas mailed back to us. Should we book the tickets one month from now? I think it should be okay...otherwise I will need to change our tickets...
