Any return tracker activated yesterday?
Any body, who's passport received on Nov 7 by Pilon, got any response back? Its been two weeks and no sign of passport back. I am so worried. :-\ :-\ :-\

Hi friends,

I received a visa in my passport and two CPR forms , one of them has my picture and the other one doesn't have, my question is this:

1) When I go to the US/Canada border for flag poling, which one do they take and which one do I need to keep?

2)After stamping, how do I get my PR card? Do I need to keep those CPR forms? What do I need to do after stamping them at the border?

3) After stamping the CPR what do I need to get my new SIN number?

Relax, the border office definitely knows which one to keep and which one to give you for future use. Just make sure you have several photocopies of both of the forms before submitting anyone.

Hi,

I have received notification from CIC to send my passport to them. I am in USA. Can anybody suggest me the rt process. CIC email suggests to send canadian shipping label along with passport so they can return back my passport to USA address. However CAnada post customer care said even if they send it to USA USA will not be accepting package with canadashipping label, and my passport will be returned to CIC.

What is the correct procedure to send passports for PR stamping from USA?

I guess they misunderstood that you will use it in USA. You have to purchase the mailing label for "Xpresspost USA" option. Note that you need a Canadian credit card (Canada billing address) or you need to ask a friend in Canada to get it for you.

Just FYI, I did the same.

Mine was received on Nov 6 and I'm still waiting too.

pass received in Ottawa oct 31 and sent back to me nov 20.

Thanks for the information, but do you know exactly which one I need to keep to apply for the PR card and SIN?

Our landing process went smoothly today... me and my wife crossed rainbow bridge and reached US port of entry. We thought of rome around US for some time as we both have US visa.. we entered into US spent some time and then back to canada border.

The officer at port of entry directed me to the immigration building (Yellow building). We submitted our passport and copr. The officer asked us to wait for some time. After 15 mins he called us back and confirmed the address. Then other formalities completed in next 2mins.

The officer mentioned that, the PR card will take 4 - 6 weeks...

Everything went smoothly and we happily landed as PR holder.

I wish everyone to get the passport soon..
