PPR: Nov. 1st
Passport reached CIC: Nov. 10th, signed for by Mr. Pilon
Return tracker activated: Nov. 19th @ 17:49
My Tracker stil shows -- 2014/11/18 18:10 OTTAWA Item processedjasminep said:Want to give some updates and receive some suggestions:
Our return tracker got activated on 14th Nov and here is the full tracking record on Canada Post website:
2014/11/17 18:01 TORONTO Item successfully delivered
11:37 TORONTO Item out for delivery
06:27 TORONTO Item processed at local delivery facility
06:25 TORONTO Canada Post processing error; item re-routed. Possible delay
2014/11/15 05:08 MISSISSAUGA Item processed
2014/11/14 18:38 OTTAWA Item processed
But in reality we did not receive the passports back on 17th evening. We have been following with everyone in Canada Post from lower level to the top level but till now no one has any clue where the package is. The delivery guy says he has no clue about this package and does not delivery the passport xpresspost parcel to anyone other than the addressee and always asks for signature, he showed me a sample envelope which was just like the envelope i purchased.
I checked with the store from where I got the prepaid envelope and the address I wrote is correct. So no chance of someone else getting the delivery.
When I showed the prinout of the tracking to delivery guy he says that the item is still in transit coz he says that the item has been 're-routed' somewhere (bold status update in above tracking) and says but he has no clue why it says it is delivered, actually no one at CP has any clue.
No signature is showing on the return envelope which is falsely saying it is delivered, where was the parcel in which I sent PPs to Ottawa shows the signature when that was received in Ottawa.
Could anyone of you let us know how should we proceed in such a case? Should we inform CIC? Should I inform my organisation for which I work. CP has said within 5 days they are going to get back.
In the meantime we are just hoping for the best.

I completed my landing on Nov 18 2014 @ Rainbow Bridge at 11.45pm. Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Cool
I walked across bridge ,I was lucky that no one was in line ,and told them I am here for flag-poling and the lady was polite and did the process in less than 2 mins
Now I walked back to Canadian side ,I was the only one again so officer there on counter gave yellow slip and guided me to building on right side of the counter.
I gave my passport and COPR at the counter ,lady Officer asked me for address proof to send my PR card.
She asked me to wait, then in less than 2 mins she called me again and told me PR obligations.
She told me it will take 3 weeks to get my PR card..
Total process took me less than 5 mins.
Thanks for the support guys.
Good Luck to Everyone
Its your call how you want to proceed. There is no difference. Could you share your time line after PPR?dhavalpatel688 said:Hi Guys,
Question for all.
Did any one got landing interview email from nearest CIC office?
Actually I got my Passport back with CoPR and right after that I got landing interview email.
I am not sure what to do. GO for landing interview or go to the US - Canada border and do landing.
Any advise?
