hi, can anyone help me to understand what does the updates on IRCC mean. I received Passport submission letter on 7th March and Final Decision was showing as 'March 6, 2025 , your application was approved'. Eligibility and Background were still in progress. Then today It says 'April4, 2025 eligibility has been reviewed' and Background check 'Feb 26, 2025 your background check was completed'. There seems to be no sequence. 6th March Application approved, and 4th April eligibility and background updated. Is this the normal sequence ????

I think they have issues with sending emails in proper order or time, but it’s a sign your application is processing or already processed and you should be receiving a dispatch message soon!

I got the dispatch message this morning (April 4th) and the courier notification this afternoon—so hopefully, the passport will arrive on Monday.
This was for my PR application. IRCC, Delhi received my passport on February 26th, so it took them almost 36 days to process.

Thanks to everyone here—hope you all get yours soon too!

I have applied for Student Visa
Passport reached IRCC on 10th March
Recieved counterfoil today (4th April) around 4PM. I will probably get it by Tuesday.

There is no counterfoil msg and counterfoil details in the portal. The message was that their is an update in application and in portal, only eligibility was marked completed though PPR came about 5 weeks back and passport is already with IRCC.
Next day VFS send msg with updates.
