I applied Visitor visa on Feb-15th . I have interview in canada on Mar-25th. Am little diffident about the process. Any status on the visitor visa applied online in the month of february is highly appreciated. Am even trying to apply it through mail one more time to LA consulate as i stay in Sacramento. Also, i heard it take only 15 days to get the visa if applied online. Please HELP ....

You have a job interview or an interview with CIC on March 25th?
Either way, give yourself a month from the date you submitted the application before starting to get worried.

I have stamping Interview with CIC on March -25. Only based on that I can continue to stay in U.S.

Dude... Read my post in another TRV thread. Some guy who applied on Feb 7 th heard from the consulate today. Thats almost a month. So, dont expect to hear from the consulate before March 13. The you have to send your passport in for stamping, once you receive email. Not sure how long that would take. May be you can just take the passport to the consulate and get it stamped personally.

I received the reply from CIC to send the passport. I applied on 15-Feb-2013. Reply came on: 15-Mar-2013. No mails received. I checked in MYCIC Login. It takes 30 days. This is how the second letter looks like:

Passport requirements
• Please provide your passport or travel document, with a copy of this letter.
• There must be at least one blank page in your passport.
• Your passport must be valid for the duration of your expected length of stay in Canada.
