@ DeeDee33, IndoCanadian and Tannygirl,
I have quick question about my wife's visitor visa application.
1. My wife is applying for her visitor visa for a period of approx 4 weeks or 1 month. How much funds is required to show in her bank account for a period of 1 month approx? Is 2000 CAD good enough? If she has less funds, can she just tell that her parents will also support financially for her trip and show her Dad's recent bank statements as a proof that he will support her financially if required. In my letter of invitation I have also written that I would be taking care of all her expenses and everything and would be using her extra funds only if necessary. So, in this case is 2000 CAD good enough or not?
2. Travel history - is it necessary to have an excellent travel history to increase your chances of getting visitor visa? She has some travel abroad with me but not an extensive one!
3. Employment leave letter - Also, She is not able to get employment leave letter as she has already used all her vacation this year because of marriage and honeymoon. So, in this case in order to demonstrate family tie back home is it OK if she shows her car loan letter? Is this good enough? My concern is not having leave letter will it weaken her application or it will depend on her overall application and not just this leave letter? She does not own her own property back home. She lives with her parents.
Please share your experiences. I am trying to make our application as strong as possible. I want to make sure she gets her visitor visa and we are submitting all the documents as per the document checklist mentioned in this forum started by Tannygirl.
Thanks in advance.
