I am trying to find out why I am not receiving the automatic acknowledgement. You also try to use your sources and let me know, what exactly is the issue.

Because as per their guidelines we should wait for 24 hours for automatic email delivery email. Now in our case it is more than that.

And lastly I got the request from Delhi visa office to submit passport for my wife!! ;D

Sent them email on 25th July.
Got the reply on 18th Aug.
Reminded them twice.. after 10 days...
FOR ALL,
For 2nd reminder, there was no automatic email from them but when I got the reply, they replied along with my last reminder!! So even if you don't get the acknowledgement email, don't panic... they receive everything from us!! :D

Congrats and thank you for your feedback about no automatic acknowledgement. It seems the average time for response for VO change is aroundd 15-20 days. however, in some cases it is less than or more than these duration.

congrats once again.

Did they gave you time extension for sending passports or still it remains 60 days from the date of your PPR letter?

CPC-CTD-Ottawa <CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca> is the mail id.
Subject:Ready For Visa - New Delhi.

No letter is attached. Just mentioned about passport & photo specification in mail.

Brother, Singapore CHC is one of the worst offices to process files. If you have any option to get your spouse's passport to Ottawa, you should do that. Even a single passport stamping in Singapore CHC is now taking almost 60-75 days.

Also remember, you can not land (become PR) until your spouse receives his/her COPR. So that means you will get your COPR from Ottawa with in 10-12 days, then you will have to wait till your spouse gets his/her COPR from Singapore. Only then you can land.

So basically you will be stuck with COPR untill your spouse also receives COPR. This is true for ALL applicants.

Is it true? I am planning to send my passport to Ottawa, but my spouse to our home country's vo office. Since I might not land until my spouse's COPR issued, it may be better to buy an expensive ticket for her to fly into Canada then send the passport to Ottawa together?

in my case, decision made at ottawa, PPR sent for ottawa and i requested visa stamping to be done in Delhi VO.
My question is, who issues COPR document, delhi office or ottawa. Is this the reason why they need 3-4 weeks time to process VO change request.
do they do sme file transffers internally from one office to other?

do they need biometrics at delhi office.

Did you not receive automatic email acknowledgement only for 15th august or you did not get it for all your mails sent on the dates mentioned above (Send mails on 19.. Reminders on 6 aug, 15 and 19.. .).

I am asking this since i did not received automatic email acknowledgement even after 48 hours, what could be the reason.

It looks many people have not received auto-response recently. I sent one on Aug. 15, no auto-response received so far.
