visa stamping at other office

I am waiting for my PPR and once received i have to send a request to CIC to change my stamping location to New Delhi.
I dont know how many days i have i wait to get the response/confirmation from CIC(For location change) post PPR.???

Most of the guys who asked for Visa office change to New Delhi, got reply with in a week.

But it could be more. Some of us are waiting for almost 3 weeks, myself waiting for a week now. You can however get a reply with in 2-3 days.

In my case I received the reply in less than 24 hrs. And I requested for stamping at New Delhi

I got reply in around 5 hours .Looks like it was the quickest .Average waiting time is around a week.

unfortunately no news yet for me.. I just asked my representative to send me a copy of the request and I found out she sent it on May 14th. Yes, hoping for a good week this week.

Major Major decisions are being made at CIC regarding our Visa office change! Important people are getting contacted I bet.

Perhaps they are calling the minister:
- "Honorable Minister, these 5 people want to change their office location for visa stamping".
- "OK, sure, why not? Let me first finish my Farmville game though".

So, I was inspired by Raagaa's bold move, and I decided to contact the office of my choice. Here is what they replied on my request for sending my passport without formal permission from CPC-Ottawa:

Dear Sir,

We confirm that you must await further instructions from the office responsible with the processing of your application, namely CPC Ottawa. Please do not send the passport now. We cannot print your visa in the absence of the consent from the Ottawa’s office and additional action in the system (some settings must be changed from Ottawa). A reminder has been sent to Ottawa today.

Thank you for your patience.

yesterday i sent an email to my visa office here in the Philippines, and im sure ill get the same reply as yours. Good thing there,is that, they will remind Ottawa. Goodluck,hope youll here something good this week.

Still the PP is under process at CHC New Delhi.
Had called the VAC's cust. Centre, they have said avg. Turn around time is 10 working days.
Still haven't heard from CIC on the Change of visa office.
I'll keep you all upfated, as soon as I hear anything.
