Finally got the copr and stamped passport. Below is the timeline:

App. Filed: 15th May
PPR : 24th April
Request to stamp in other office : 27th April
Response from CIC : 28th April
Passport sent : 6th May
Passport received :14th May

I guess no email from CIC to any of us. I am completely dumbfounded by this wait. No idea what to do. I don't want to send my passport without the confirmation, because the office that works with my passport is in Singapore. I don't want to send my passport to Singapore, unless I get some sort of green light OR I have my back against the wall.

I hear you brother! It is the same with me Certainly the long weekend doesn't help at all!!! I will wait till the end of the week. And next week I will send my passport to Ottawa. I won't send it to the Visa Office responsible for my area, because they made it clear that I should wait to hear from Ottawa. But my patience is running out....It is not me trying to urge them to process my application. My application has been processed, I can't understand why this is taking so long, when apparently there is under option, the one that Raagaa has tried....ARGHHHHH...So frustrated!

Yes CHC New Delhi received my courier today, I had to send a set of photographs as I had only submitted PP with VFS.
So, I am hoping to receive PP sometime this week, I have opted for home delivery option rather than collection since I live about 1000 KM away from nearest VFS Center.

If all goes well then I am planning a 1st week of July landing on Toronto Int'l Airport.
