I just got the answer of my previous question. So they send the Card just to the residential address, and it doesn't contain both.

Under the window that says PR Application there should be another window that says PR card application, it comes when they star processing it.

How long usually does it take for a Pr card to get from Nova Scotia to BC? Do I really have to wait 2 weeks as the CIC agent suggested? Please, share your experience guys :) Sandrinho

I just checked my ECAS, and it already shows that my PR card is in process since 11th of August. I landed on 12th of July at the Vancouver Airport. How long does it take form ECAS PR Card In Process to actually getting my PR card? Regards, Sandrinho

Last time I had to wait 34 or 35 days. So give them a few more days before sending an email asking them what is going on :)

In your RPRF email it is written, and I quote " For fastest service, please attach it to an email and send it to the address CPCO-Cost-recovery.CTDO-Recouvrement-frais@cic.gc.ca"

Because they send RCMP requests in batches and sometimes way before processing one's application.

At the local Canadian Embassy they don't have "In Person Drop-off" service, and I think it is frown upon, they will probably forward you to VAC or to mail your docs. Have you asked them to advise you on your situation?

I think they have slowed down on purpose (PPRs, replying to requests for office change, and even printing visas). I think they are trying to clear the back-log with the PR cards, plus the summer is coming so that should be taken into consideration too.

Don't worry Ashra, the waiting doesn't stop even if you get response from CPC-O. I have been waiting for a week my passport to come back from Bucharest. So.......Be patient, I have been there :)

Maybe it does depend on the office, I have been told that I MUST wait for a reply from CPC-O....But in Raaga's case she got green light. It's up to you :) Maybe you have to give them a call and ask them yourself :)

Hopefully you don't have to wait as long as me :)

It seems like they had left some requests to pile up before dealing with them .....It is all learning curve for those of us who are trying to understand how CIC works
