Ok, so I found my mistake regarding the letter I posted on before. It was indeed true that I hadn't payed my fees yet. They were talking about the right of permanent residence fee and I was thinking about the application fee we have to pay before submitting the application. All these abbreviations are confusing! I found out because I clicked through buttons at MyCIC which I hadn't clicked before and I found my personal document checklist. There it told me to upload the receipt. I manged to find out how to pay it and it took only a minute. The fee is 490 CAD by the way. I uploaded the document and then I had to submit it by clicking more interesting looking buttons and sign the submission digitally. It's not really complicated but I never new of this option and got lucky I was feeling playful and bored for a sec. It's all hidden under "view submitted application".
I'm probably making a fool out of me right now and you guys know all this already but maybe someone didn't and I can save him/her from a delay.
Mine is only two days so I'm not too upset. I just hope there won't be any confusion with the email I had sent 2 days ago saying I've already payed. Bt I don't think so since they have proof of payment now and that's what counts.

now MyCIC status changed from "additional document required'" to "provided", so I'm positive I did it right.

Yes, they sent procedural fairness letter to submit additional documents on June 28th. I submitted all the supporting documents by August 4th. Last response to my case inquiry was received on 21st Sept that the file is pending review and final decision.

My application has been approved! I don't know exactly when because I didn't receive a status update email. I so hope that I'll receive COPR quickly because I'm going to fly over there on the 8th of November. Any estimations on how long that normally takes?

I'm May applicant and have gotten nothing but silence from Vienna.

We ordered GCMS notes for the first time 1-2 weeks ago. Will let you know once I receive them if there's anything interesting in there.

As of today, my background check has changed to "In Progress". Finally something!

I haven't gotten any e-mail notification, I just checked MyCIC.

I can't believe how fast this went now. Just last Friday background check changed to in progress and now we're approved. By the way, I did get an e-mail about the change, just a day later.

So relieved, I can't even begin to describe it. Now the wait for the COPR begins.
