Does anyone know whether or not it matters where the sponsored person will be landing? For instance, if the person will be living in Ontario but lands into Quebec, is that a problem? I have read that this could be problematic because the Quebec requirements are slightly different from those of the other provinces. :-\

They are usury special , however I believe they shouldn't make you problem ...

You will not receive an email advising that the application has arrived in Vienna. I'm sure it's already there and, judging by how other applications have been progressing, your application should be finalized in less than a month.

Also Boris today I check status online it's changed from app received in to In process , and info added when you click on In process is 3. We start processing your app on July 30th 205 ....
Thanks for bringing us

Ussualy after they reciveed passport they need only 7 days to put visa in. Am not sure about visa exempt country, but from what i read and know ECAS from app recived must go "in process" then DM. ( some people reported that recived PPR and got there visa's on ECAS still app recived, so after a while it goes directly to DM.

Hi kosova, Am from Macedonia, my wife is from Canada and we appied outland, like everyone else here.

Hi guys,
Happy to see that a lot of Vienna applicants have received IP or DM.
My application was kept in Ottawa.
I received decision made on the 28th of July. I received an email to send a copy of my passport and 2 photos to the Embassy in Vienna.
The email state that i will receive my COPR within 7 days from the date the visa office receives my documents.
Good luck to everyone that is still waiting.

I'm wondering the same as I haven't heard anything since it has changed to in progress either, hopefully this is because we are from visa exempt country as well. Hope soon we both will hear something. This has really got me nervous

Lamja I am so happy for you! My husband and I got so excited as if we were the ones who got ppr! We are March 17 applicants so fingers crossed we are soon!! Did the VO give you a timeline for when you need to give them your passport? I ask this since my husband and I are abroad and need to be prepared for this stage. Thanks and once again congratulations!
