Did the VO give you a timeline for when you need to give them your passport? I ask this since my husband and I are abroad and need to be prepared for this stage. You have 30 days from the date you received passport request , well that' was my case :

Your application for permanent residence in Canada has reached the final stage of processing. You must submit your passport and the passport(s) of all accompanying dependent(s) to the visa office in Vienna (see address below) within 30 days of the date of this letter in order to finalize your application.

same as BCserbia say's u have 30 days from the date u recive email from Vienna about passport. finger cross for you and everyone else who still waiting. ur are next

Just received my SA, processing will be done in Vienna. So I guess I am finally certain that I belong here. Too bad (no offence ), I was hoping for Ottawa or Mississauga, since their processing times are way faster.

This Monday is best monday in my life, i checked ECAS like every day and guess what "Decision Made" !!!

Am so happy now, passport already send just waiting now my passport back with COPR.

From App rec. to DM total 164 days !

My ECAS just changed to "In Process" even though medicals are not said to have arrived yet, nor did I receive an AOR from Vienna.

Not sure what this means.

Hello Maartenvg,

Congrats on being in process so quickly!! When did you get your SA? Can you post your timeline please?
It could be that medicals have been received but they just haven't updated that portion (probably next few days it will be updated). If they really didn't receive them, they might ask for them in the next few days.

Vienna doesn't send AOR2 at all.

Just keep checking your email as they usually request the passport shortly after it says in process or even before that.

Hi LLAngel, my wife received SA on the 6th of August, just a few days ago. In the SA letter they said I hadn't received my medicals, so I'll have to recheck with the physician that I used. But that'll have to wait, I'm on holiday back in the Netherlands.

WOW...so it only took them 4 days to mail your application to Vienna and they opened it right away? That's super good luck!

Most of us wait minimum 2 months before hearing anything :S

Yea, I'm not sure the "In Process" is correct. It almost feels too fast. Some other June people (but not processed by Vienna) had an instant "In Process" too, so it might be that they've changed their protocols or something like that.
