it seems to me that Vienna is interviewing everyone? whats up with that?
My husband applied in inland, i know its a long process but were hoping he wll get his OWP soon.
I'm follwoing the Vienna thread just in case I have to withdraw his application and apply outland. He is from Croatia, we both are.

Seems like it indeed lol, but I'm sure there are many other applicants that have been waived. Our forum group of leftover 2013-early 2014 applicants is small now, so it just seems as if we're all being called in.

My hubby is asked to bring:

[X ] Your passport.

[ X ] proof of ongoing communication and contact with your sponsor.

[ X ] proof that you and your sponsor visited each other.

[ X ] any photos demonstrating the existence of a conjugal relationship.

[ X ] evidence of funds transfers from your sponsor.

[ X ] evidence of cohabitation with your sponsor-leases, joint property ownership, etc.

[ X ] evidence that you hold joint bank accounts, investments, credit cards, insurance, etc.

[ X ] any additional proof of relationship since time of submission (such as additional photos, visits, money transfer, correspondence, etc.).


Ok, here is a small problem. We can prove that we talk to each other. We started saving Viber history, however it is not long enough. No skype, we have emails that I usually send. Ok we can proove that we talk, because we do, almost 24/7.

I send him money every two weeks or whenever I get paid, but at least twice a month, sometimes more.

We do not have anything together yet.

And we didnt vist each other ever since we got married. Our anniversary is 17 February, and I left on 24th Feb 2014. I could not visit, he was declined visitors visa, he was advised to apply for PR.

Today i reserved the hotel near the embassy, it was 90 Euros for two nights and I bought a ticet from Podgorica to Vienna for him. We explored Bus options, but it is hassle to get to Belgrade. I did not want to risk bus being delayed, or problems at the border or anything similar, so day ahead, the flight is only 90 min, and i have downloaded maps from the airport to hotel, there is one way public bus that takes 27 min and costs 2.30E and the hotel is a walking distance from the embassy. He will arrive day before, I told him to walk in the afternoon and find the embassy and get familiar with the area.

As soon as he is done, I will share the details with all pf you.

I am a bit nervous, but he is very confident.

I have been asked to provide the same stuff as you, except the proof of sending money (we provided a plethora of that when we applied, but nonetheless, I'm still gonna give them proof for this year as well.)

Yeah it's much better for him to take a plane from Beograd. It's winter and buses can get stuck for any odd reason. I'm taking the train up from Zagreb so that should be hassle free, I pray.

START GETTING EVERYTHING TOGETHER!!! Don't wait till the last minute, you may skip something by accident that way.

Ha ha, I just realized that I didn't express myself properly. When I said "we do not have anything together" I meant that we do not OWN andy joint properties, bank accts atc, but we have all the papers ready....
Please share interview details.
Oh and he will go from Podgorica not Belgrade

Hi everyone I have been sick and in hospital (Jan 1-13) with gallstones. have a stent in for now. operation to remove Gallbladder late Feb. I see Vienna 2 idea was a flop, that's ok we'lll continue here no problemo.

I see the easy peasy cases, are rocketing through VO in a year of less con grats to all you got their COPR. Interviews seems to be the Hot topic this month. Looking forward to reading about those and new coming, happenings in 2015

Yeah it's not easy to get a ton of joint stuff when you're forced to be separated by an entire ocean lol.
I'll tell you guys how it all went once it's finished.

My husband applied Outland and it took us 19 months, but he finally got his CoPR in December 2014.

I am attaching a link, this is a petition addressed to the Auditor General of Canada in order to draw attention to several issues at CIC regarding Inland Spousal Sponsorship.
I will sign the petition because I can understand the amount of frustration and helplessness one can go through while waiting for a decision to finally be made. Perhaps we can make a difference

Where are you staying? When are you leaving?
We have 670 pages of Viber messages, 3 pages of text messages, 20 pages of email subject lines, 25 western union transfers and that is it. I am not sure if i should include communication with his sisters, that would be another 100 pages.....

I am desperately waiting to hear what happened to you, however we are not Visa exempt so I am not sure will it be the same.....

Thank you for the article I read it and I think it is nice. Have you tried calling Chris Alexander? People say they have contacted him. For Vienna, draft a letter asking how far is your application, how much longer you have to wait, is anything missing and is there anything that you can do to speed up the process.

That is so unusual, you probably have a more complicated case. Have you tried contacting sponsor's MP? They are sometimes very helpful, in my case they have been helpful A LOT.

I'd like to share our good news in hopes of giving all that have been waiting some newfound hope! We received my husband's COPR via courier today! 8 months in total waiting. Must be honest, we have a really cut and dry case but even still it's faster than expected. I sincerely hope this means good things for all PR applicants via Vienna!
