One question for all applicants who recent have got request for additional documents, such as new police certificate, new medical or updated Schedule A. What was the subject of e mail you got from Vienna when they asked for it? :-)

F000***** - document request

That's what I think, too. They asked me for documents I sent them in my original application...

Maybe they requested the documents again to ensure that you are still living together because your application is close to be finished?

Hey guys.

As I mentioned a few days earlier. My wife got an interview for may 14th at 3 o'clock. What i am worried about is that they didn't request any additonal documents. Her police certificate was done 2012 december 6, And her medical was done in 2013 january 6. When the interview date arrives it will be more than 15 months old unfortunately so i dont know if i should be worried. I just dont want them to ask for a medical after the interview to save that 2 months. And also how do I confirm the interview can i confirm in a email? Because did send them a reply and they haven't said anything since.

cheers roland

I guess they want to wait how the interview goes. If she passes they will request these documents afterwards.

Well in that case i'm gonna buy the first ticket to vienna and punch them in the face.........Because this is getting frustrating we have been married for 2 years our daughter is 3 years old. we have been living together for the past 4 years. And we met 4.5 years ago. And from my income i could sponsor a whole 4 person family...... So i don't see any reason for the interview at all. OTher than messing with us. And we never had any criminal charges.

Wow this is frustrating. I'm sorry...

Thank you but atleast they would tell me whats going on. Because my wife in hungary was living on her own with my daughter renting an appartment. The owner of the appartment sold the appartment and she needed to move back to her moms. Now she is living together her family in a one bedroom appartment with 8 other people all together 10 of them. While my daughter is still waiting for hungarian citizenship in order to get healthcare atleast in hungary. Because they have been striking for absolutely no reason. About not making as much as their canadian counterparts.... But they seem to forget that their bills and housing costs are probably half as much. For these reason only they mess up other families life.

IF that happens im just gonna tell them to fuck their landed papers. And i will give up my citizenship as well.

gabiroli,
Don't worry, your wife should be truthful at the interview, relaxed, and everything will be fine. If you replied to the invite, than it is ok.

If I were you, I would tell your wife to get a new police certificate to bring to the interview and do the medical exam(when she phones to schedule she should say that she is in Family Class). From our perspective today, If my husband had done the medical prior to the interview, I guarantee we would have been in Canada already. I know that medical costs, but it's a small price to pay compared to this nightmare of waiting and expenses it brings.

Don't get upset. Although our current situations seem terrible, there are always worse scenarios.
Believe me, I know.
All the best.

Hello, Its now more than a year since I visiting this site. However, this is my first written message. I am extremely thankful to all those who started this thread.
My PR application is also going through Vienna. l live in Berlin but originally from Pakistan. Can anyone tell me how much time it take after interview and second medical? My time line is below:

Application submitted to Mississauga along with sponsorship application: July 10, 2012
Sponsorship approved and file transferred to Vienna: November 07, 2012 (on this date Vienna office sent me acknowledgement letter)
Processing start: February 15, 2013 (as online status shows and also shows medical received -first medical)
Interview Held in Vienna: January 14, 2014
Document request: New police Clearness certificate and new medical examination: January 27, 2014

I have sent them requested documents (new police clearness from Germany and 2nd medical examination) on February 06, 2014

Can anyone update me what gonna happen next? I wrote to Vienna and asked them how much time it gonna take more and they replied that we are waiting for assessment of your medical examination. More specifically my question is: how much time medical assessment take and reach back to Vienna?
