Hey guys.

As I mentioned a few days earlier. My wife got an interview for may 14th at 3 o'clock. What i am worried about is that they didn't request any additonal documents. Her police certificate was done 2012 december 6, And her medical was done in 2013 january 6. When the interview date arrives it will be more than 15 months old unfortunately so i dont know if i should be worried. I just dont want them to ask for a medical after the interview to save that 2 months. And also how do I confirm the interview can i confirm in a email? Because did send them a reply and they haven't said anything since.

you can confirm the interview by email for sure, they responded 5 days later to my email thanking me for the confirmation. In my email I also asked them about the new medical and they responded I will get the info at the interview grrrrr!!!! I'm hoping they can prolong it bcs 15 months haven't expired in our case. But you can ask them about the police certificate bcs she will have to get a new one for sure, maybe you can be proactive in this case. I also asked if I can bring proof of our ongoing relationship even though they didn't ask for it, they responded that I can take it with me. Now I have about 2cm material, and I'm still not done If they have the decency to doubt our relationship after that I will be glad to answer it Generally, this time they actually answered my questions not with template emails, I was so surprised.... After everything you become thankful for small things.
When I read that you have a kid I really don't see what they want from this interview. Have you considered ordering GCMS? It's gonna be okay, just be calm and honest.

don't redo it until they ask you to cuz sometimes the processing exceeds the medical exam validity but they don't ask for a redo. Should they ask for a redo, then I guess they're gonna send you the form to take with when you go to the doctor. As for the cost, it's the same as the first time (the procedure and the cost).

well i dont mind the 200 euros to pay for the medical. it costs me far more in a month to support my wife in hungary. Not mentioning that I miss my daughters 3rd birthday these are things that they can never give us back and they dont care about. At the time of the interview it will be 8 months since i havent seen my family. And due to my work i cant take a flight to hungary...I reallly really hope that someday they will get into the same shoes as we are in right now. So that they will understand. They don't give a fuck why should i be nice to them.

Hello, Its now more than a year since I visiting this site. However, this is my first written message. I am extremely thankful to all those who started this thread.
My PR application is also going through Vienna. l live in Berlin but originally from Pakistan. Can anyone tell me how much time it take after interview and second medical? My time line is below:

Application submitted to Mississauga along with sponsorship application: July 10, 2012
Sponsorship approved and file transferred to Vienna: November 07, 2012 (on this date Vienna office sent me acknowledgement letter)
Processing start: February 15, 2013 (as online status shows and also shows medical received -first medical)
Interview Held in Vienna: January 14, 2014
Document request: New police Clearness certificate and new medical examination: January 27, 2014

I have sent them requested documents (new police clearness from Germany and 2nd medical examination) on February 06, 2014

Can anyone update me what gonna happen next? I wrote to Vienna and asked them how much time it gonna take more and they replied that we are waiting for assessment of your medical examination. More specifically my question is: how much time medical assessment take and reach back to Vienna?

I think I remember reading somewhere it shouldn't take more than about a month for Vienna and London to communicate about the medical results. If there's nothing else left besides to wait for medical results I think you should expect a passport request or COPR depending on where you are from. You are near the end for sure!

Can I please ask you to write about your experience at interview since you recently had one and mine is scheduled for next week? The officer's attitude, the questions, anything you can think of... any advice would be welcome. You can write me a PM if you want. Thanks

Did they specify that will put Visa stamp? I know that is the most common reason they are requesting passport for, but I think you're best option is to send as they requested. If they ask you to leave passport with them, what than?

Hey all,

So we just got the SA a week ago, and Vienna already asked for something earlier today - a new police certificate. Is it ok to print out their request that they sent via email and attach it to the new certificate? Is there something i need to put on the outside of the letter to Vienna as well (i.e. my client I.D., etc)

its very sad what they make us go.through
my husband and i r kind of going what u r going through. im due in 9 days with our first child and i dont think there is a chance of him making it here by then..they asked for.additional documents which we have sent and its been 10 days since it has arrived in vienna but.noone.confirmed yet.
the waiting.really sucks and we cant really do anything just hope for.some.crazy miracle

Hey guys, another question:

Vienna doesn't believe that I moved into my boyfriend's place in April 2012. So they doubt our common-law status at the time of application.

We have a rental agreement from February 2012 in his name and a letter from the landlord confirming that I moved into the place in April 2012.
Is this enough?

Should I get payment receipts from the landlord for every month we lived there with both of our names on them? Is this believable that someone keeps these receipts for such a long time?
