if you want to order for your own application, here is the link under privacy act.

However, if you want to order on behalf of someone's, I believe you need to order it under information act.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-personal.asp


You need to order on behalf of your husband as he is the applicant (2nd link). There will be a $5 fee. go to the 2nd link and fill out the form, ask you husband to sign and PDF a copy of the form to you by email, when you apply you attached the PDF form and in 30 days you should receive the notes.

Can you tell me how long it was since you sent in the requested document?
My husband is doing his 2nd medical tomorrow so the doc's will also be sent to Vienna tomorrow. Hopefully everything will be ok, and we won't have to wait much longer.

Hello everyone, here i come to join the vienna clients. My husband is waiting for his spouse visa approval since January 2013, he's from Belgrade and im here in Canada, pregnant!!! And due in march...im going crazy....this waiting is killing me. Im glad to hear that they are actually working on applications, but am surprised they are not really following the order like it says on their website. Since we sent our application, it has arrived in Vienna in february and since then we have no clue whats going on. Not allowed to contact them before exp of processing time which was 10 mnts at the time we applied and now its 13. :'(
We applied for visitor visa just rcently and got declined :'( :'( maybe we just dont have luck with this.
Has anyone had similar experience, or is in similar situation as us?

welcome to our "waiting room" I am also sponsoring my husband from BG, and he was also denied a visitor visa. Please don't get discouraged by my timeline, I think we are in the other 20% that take much longer for processing. Anyway, I am hoping it will be over soon as they requested a new medical and a few more doc's.
Congrats on your pregnancy, when are you due? Hope your hubby will be here for the big day.

Yes like you ask if its normal its normal to spent 7month without getting anything from Vienna me myself i was having 7month no email or anything from vienna, cox its very slow but last month i got my PR at 10dec same day after interview just try to check your husband email always, and also sometimes they can extend his medical just dont do it before they ask cox mine was extend close to the expire. So be petient everything will be good.

Hi Muby – thanks for the kind words – yes I know there is nothing you can do but to keep patient… I will wait to hear from them… Do you think that I should send them another e mail since they have not yet replied to my email sent a month ago?

It is not unusal to not hear anything from Vienna, I actually think they try to go out of their way to keep us in dark. As for the medicals, my husbands expired in September last year, and they requested a new one just last week so I am hoping we are getting to the end of this nightmare. There are different opinions regarding re-doing the medicals...we waited, but there are people who did them on their own. I don't think it would save any time doing them in advance as they would probably request a new police certificate and scedule A also at the same time. Once time comes this is required they will let you know.
All I can tell you is that you have to be patient Vienna is very slow

Hi Eva.. thanks.. yes I think I will wait for them to contact me if they need new medicals.. also since my husband is a visitor in Canada currently it would be a big risk for him to leave just to make new medicals if not requested by Vienna. How did Vienna let you know to do new medicals – via e mail? When did you apply for your husband – how long have you been waiting so far?

Vienna is working hard thats very nice everybody get email to do there medical chek again.....my medical chek will be expired on 7 february and Vienna didnt send me anything im waiting patiently so lets hope they will email me one of this days.. i order also GCMS note so 2 weeks more then i get my GCMS note i hope they have good information for me.....Lets pray for the best ;D

If i was you i wouldnt sent vienna any email especially now they working very hard during process just little petient to them, cox sometimes sending lots of mail can put your files in Q Then you most wait longer. Good luck everyone

We got AOR Feb 25 in notes I saw they received it Feb 5.

Wait nada3 - Eva to reply, her husband has to send the same documents, from Serbia also. But I think you should send it by regular mail, together with document from medical exam.

Yeah I saw in the GCMS file that our file was transferred to Vienna on Feb 5 2013, and they've sent my wife an e-mail 20 days later acknowledging the reception.
