Honestly, I'm not surprised at all. Giving the fact that there are some people waiting still from September 2012, and no one who submitted application this year got the papers, we could only expect that processing times will increase. But when you wait for 7 months, it's better. You loose hope, and then 1 month more doesn't seem so bad...

Is not about one more month or 2 its about next time the will put it to the 14 while u waiting from 10 to another 10 so u never know

Hi guys, I wasn't around for some time now and I am so sorry to hear this news.

I am finally enjoying with my hubby in Canada, on a TRV though but I guess I should be very thankful given this outcome with Vienna.

It isn't fair, I know some people that applied through Vienna in November 2011 and landed in Canada in March 2012 , when I think of it I get mad!

But we must not get even more frustrated bcs it reflects on our relationships, please keep your hopes up! Somehow I believe they need to work harder in this last quarter bcs their 2013 statistics is just terrible and they do have some targets to fulfill!

Sponsor congratulations on your arrival!

greetings to all of you

I'm so disappointed. I should have applied inland than I would get at least an OWP in time. Who pays for my mortgage? My work permit expires in March 2014 and I probably won't get my PR before August 2014. It just sucks and I'm really angry right now. I could lose my job because of the lazy people in Vienna :'(

This is sad news indeed :'(

I personally think that an acceptable time frame should be around 6 months, at least for family applications. This has been said before by many others, I know, but it feels like they are not prioritizing family reunification at all. I'm luckily with my husband, we've never been apart for more than 10 hours in the past 5 years, but still, others aren't as lucky as we are, from what I can see in this forum.

What I don't understand is, why they decided to merge all applications from 5-6 different countries into one VO.

Anyway, it's a sad thought to go to bed with. We have to keep it together though, can't lose our minds. I've decided to take yoga classes during this whole process to help me relax, I don't want to get an ulcer or anxiety disorders.

Chin up everybody!

Yeah, i know what you mean... Actually I forced myself to loose my hope last month, and now I don't even care anymore!
I knew it could happen, still upsets me, but I am thinking guys, that they look back the last quarter and they count an average processing time on that and the last quarter was affected by the strike really bad, so we might hope better news for the next update - or because of the huge backlogs even only on the second quarter update from now. Because they will need time to catch up - so they get a less number of apps waiting there gathering dust. ::)

Hi all!

I am dumbfounded! I read your comments and then i checked it by my self and I felt my blood rising up to my head!
Honestly I thought I was going to have a stroke!

S h i t who cares for a number change if only they could drag their a s s e s off their chairs and do some work, like most of the VO's in Europe! Rome has 13 months (was 14 before the summer) but they are actually clearing up their applicants in less than 8 months from the very start.

I understand most of you as I too feel helpless and frustrated and also like a cheap person as they do not even give us a sign of good will like issuing a visa from the remaining 2012 applicants!

To hell with Vienna. If I knew that our apps would be intact I would have asked for a transfer to Rome as now we are entitled to do it as my wife is now permanently residing in Greece!

So we are all stuck with the slowest and most useless VO in the f.....g globe!

The problem is that they seem not to prioritize any category. the PNPs are still waiting, the Economic Class are still waiting and I mean waiting for as long as more than 2 years. So I do not know where their priority is.
