We're still waiting for COPR and I guess it will take another month or 2 but we certainly will not complain when we consider how long you guys have been waiting without any movement or progress. Hi chala my friend. I hope you are ok. I am so sorry I didn't reply to your last pm but I am feeling total deranged due to the lack of sleep.
I do not believe for a moment that Vienna is going to give me any special treatment just because I triggered them by emailing them.
Ottawa is doing just great and I can only laugh now remembering all these poor people whose files were misplaced when Ottawa took in the move from Buffalo! This VO is rolling like a charm! Many of the February and March members that I know have already taken their COPR's from Ottawa. I am very very happy for them and I am sure any day now yours will come along.

Its last day of the week nothing come from vienna 3 decision made and 3 COPR form Manila today all of them is from applied this year Oh my god and vienna still will be sleeply like hell anyway we will see monday. Enjoy weekends everybody!!!

I don't know what to say anymore. I just hope that the processing times don't increase anymore.
I can work on my current work permit until March 2014, after that I have savings for about 5 months and then I really need my PR to continue working. I hope I can stay in / re-enter Canada as a tourist to be with my love and my cats in our house and I hope I won't lose my job because I can't tell my bosses when I will return to work.

I try to enjoy my holiday in the Philippines and hope the damage is not to big there after the horrible typhoon yesterday/today.

I won't check e-cas for the rest of the year.

That's all I can do.

If your boss obtains a LMO (Labour Market Opinion) you might be able to apply for a work visa for the time until your PR is processed. Might be worth looking into.

Unfortunately, the last LMO's were all declined. The job is not special enough for foreign workers :-( My co-workers from Germany and Ireland had to leave the company a few weeks ago because of this. And now there's not enough time for a new one anyways. It took my boss always 4 months to get an LMO + the time for the work permit itself. If the LMO would be positive I still wouldn't get the permit before the late spring or summer. And my current work permit is an IEC one so not extendable and no implied status

I have a question. Would it be ok if I put the pictures in a separate envelope, like the one you get when you print pictures at a drug store? The envelope is blue with the name of the store on it and I put a white sticker and wrote "Photographs" on it.

Would this confuse the people who sort out the files? I really don't want my pictures to get lost or thrown away because they are in a blue envelope. What do you think?

I put mine in a clear ziplock bags ( I had 4 bags, total of 170 photos) and just put an elastic around and labeled each bag with the month and year of when they were taken. I wasn't sure either how to send them and that was what I came up with.
Someone said they printed them on regular paper 3- 4 on each page and just enclosed them with the rest of documents. I think messenger had it in one of his posts.

How was your vacations? I was in Paris too for Vacation but still nothing came from Vienna and i already resume to work and not even think for Vienna cox its not sound good what is happen down there hope anything will come from them.

How's everyone doing? Hope all's well (despite the silence from Vienna...).

I have some info for anyone on here applying from Croatia.
I've been told from my lawyer that i need an Up Front Medical asap. I called the doctor here in the capital of Croatia, Zagreb (Dr. Bergovec) who's the only doctor assigned for immigration in the entire country, and i've come to the conclusion that the man is beyond stupid.
I can't find another word to describe him. Either that or he was drugged beyond belief on some heavy narcotics because his slow, lazy and absolutely 'lost' answers pertaining to ANY info on getting an Up Front Med done were beyond useless... or he's just an idiot.

So, overall, he said he does not do Up Front meds anymore. I told him that CIC's website says differently, and he stated that ALL countries will eventually only do E-Medica's and that he chose to get rid of the hard copy Up Front's earlier. No specific reason why... He literally couldn't FORM a reason when i asked him why. He had the old IMM1017 forms and showed them to me but said he can't do anything until we file and receive a Client ID/UCI. (aka the ID we take to the doc to do the medical AFTER our husband/wife is approved as a sponsor).

If anyone else on here is from Cro, and is about to apply, let me know how it's going for you. Also, has anyone else applied within the last month (Oct-Nov. 2013) and had no issue with doing an E-Med AFTER receiving the UCI?

That's all. (I'm about to sit on a friggin plane and head out to Serbia to do my Up Front if needed).

I'm definitely going to call someone in Serbia (i know more people there)! This doctor here in Cro is going out of town next week, so i can say to anyone in Serbia that i have no one to do the up front in Cro and need it asap. I hope they will be able to take me in and that it won't be an issue to CIC that i did it out of the country where i hold a passport.
(If there's a doctor in Vojvodina anywhere, that'll be great since it's a lot closer than Beograd. I'll also check Slovenia because i'm in Zagreb now and Slovenia is pretty darn close too).

Am i the only Croatian applicant on the forum? lol
