Hvala Messenger.....It wouldn't let me reply to your post. I got an email from the CIC yesterday confirming that they received my application. But im guessing that doesn't mean that they started the process. They gave me a UCI number X00000000000 and a application # Y111111111 and non of these numbers work when i try to check the status. I know not much has been done but just wanted to see that it would say and how it all looks... it says the UCI # should be 4 number with a dash and another 4 numbers 0000-0000 so it doesn't make much sense. It is a relief that they at least sent me something with a confirmation because reading some posts of people not getting any confirmation for 2-3 months would be so frustrating.

I would like to join the Vienna and March 2013 outland app. If anyone would be kind to add my info

Hi guys and girls

as the usual saying here goes...YAY...I got my AOR today. Just a minute ago it popped up in my company's email from a forward I made in my private gmail account.
Thank you guys You brought me good luck.
Come to think of it..its a little suspicious situation here!
One moment I write and nag here in Vienna about my delay and next thing you know my AOR arrives.
Hmmmmm. something fishy here. Ok who is the one who made the call so i can get it?

I will probaly be landing on the 7th of May. It depends a bit. I have to get an import permit for my pet parrot, and the quarantine place that we found has to be approved. But if it does I will be landing on the 7th of May.

I'm looking so much forward to it.

I have already added you in March and Vienna spreadsheets. I too received this last Friday the same confirmation (AOR) as you did and still my Ecas is not showing anything. I believe we would be able to see it when we get the SA (Sponsor Approval)
You have waited only 9 days to get your AOR so consider your self lucky. Members here in Vienna thread from last year had to wait an average of 60 days for this. We in 2013 have been much luckier

McDutch, I just heard back from Vienna. They said they are finalizing my husband's application and that the COPR will be issued shortly. Nothing changed in E-CAs yet, so probably you are in the same queue. Just wanted to let you know!

Is that the case ?

If so, after how many months you've involved your MP to get a feel of application status?

They do send an AOR, most likely by e-mail, so i hope you put down a correct e-mail address.

yes they do issue an AOR. With us it took one month between SA and Vienna AOR, it might be faster now. Don't bother with the MP unless it has been several months since receiving your AOR from Vienna. Also don't bother with contacting Vienna unless it's been more than 3 months since receving an AOR from Vienna (it's the timeframe stated in the Vienna AOR letter).

guys don't worry about the AOR too much, it doesn't really mean anything. There are people on this thread who got their AOR two-three months after us and their cases got processed way faster. You are still relatively at the beginning of this waiting process, so save your nerves, you might end up needing them! That's the one thing I learned from this awesome process
