I think I'm entering the stage where I'm anxiously carrying my phone everywhere with me in case the courrier rings! I know it's too soon, but what can I do

Well, they received my meds on March 19th (according to CAS) they COULD have finished it off that week and sent it out. But i would have expected an e-mail to notify me of that happening.

McDutch you started your process from Jun , but i was waiting a year from February 2012 and after 1 year it took them to close our file, if they received your medical on march 19, they will email you soon , you will hear something probably by beggining of April , i know it is really stress waotong period

BTW. Let me ask something. I E-cas what I know as Online services "Check your application status" ?

No news for me... i hope i get my SA next week.... i tried logging in to check status but my UCI and application # still don't work. I guess you work so long and hard to complete and send the application and then once you do you get anxious hahahahaha. My wife got her PC in december and we sent the app in march.... we are cutting it close with the 90 day expiration but i hope they let it slide.

I officially landed two days ago without any problems! Three short conversations - one at the regular booths, one with an immigration officer, and one with a customs officer - and I was officially a permanent resident. Now, I don't want to encourage anyone to take the risk and I may well have been an exception, but the process was surprisingly smooth considering that I had a lot of baggage and no list of what I was bringing into the country or the B4 form. Then again, I also declared that I had no goods to follow, so that may have helped. All in all getting out of the airport probably took an extra 30 minutes compared to a regular trip to Canada.

Hi,
I am from Germany. I will apply outside Canada for Common law Partner sponsorship!
I heard it is the fastest way and I can travel to Germany and can come back to Canada in the process time.

I wonder how long does it take - the process. And do I need to do a medical test?
Maybe someone can help me and tell me the steps?
Does everyone have to do an interview?
And how difficult is it do fill out all the forms ... and how do I know if I not forget one form? Is there like a package with forms I can ask for?

Medicals are mandatory for everyone, Interviews are a possibility if the VO officer has reasons to doubt your relationship.

Waiting time is listed on the CIC website as well.
