Unfortunate lack of Christmas miracles in my Ecas.. everything still says "in process" with no word from them on anything since they started processing it on Nov 26th... I'm probably beating a dead horse in this forum, but in our age of technology why can't they make this process more transparent?

Oh well, HAPPY NEW YEAR to all of you and best of luck to all of us! Let's hope this is our last New Year's Day together in this thread! ;)

Happy new year to everyone!!!!

Vienna office is open today, however, I think the system updates overnight so you wouldn't see any changes today since yesterday was a holiday.
it will come, we have to distract ourselves with other things, because obsessing over why it's taking so long just makes it that much harder. it's been 300 days for us today. I really hope we don't hit the 400 mark.

Good luck that they will be finished soon! Did you send an email to Vienna to ask about what's going on? If yes, when did you send it?

This is really getting annoying.. why do they take so long to reply to an email? I sent them an email last Thursday to inquire about my status but no answer yet. I will contact my MP next week so that they can try to find out what's going on.

For me is more frustared because my application is 11 months, is taking forever , i feel like to give up, but evrybody keep saying to me to wait because this s almost done . i contacetd MP they helped me a lot , to get information from Them , but they dont speed the process , i emailed them a lot they never replied to my email only they emailed me to tell that my hubby need interview, and that we miss documents, but today i was shocked to see 2 emailes from them , lets see how long will take for them to give me another answer, i hope soon i will have some good news.

we've been waiting this long, we can't give up now. Soon enough this too will be behind us. At least you've got some good news, hopefully it will be over in a few days. For us it's still "in process" and no news/updates :(

Alright, the mail man delivered COPR! We'll drive down to Vermont tomorrow and land on Sunday!

Best of luck to all of you who are still waiting.

Thanks. We just got back, fittingly during the beginning of a snow storm. The landing process was pretty fast and unproblematic. We crossed the border at Philipsburg/St. Armand, and the whole process was done in maybe 20 minutes. The immigration officer asked if I had ever been convicted, denied entry etc., made me sign the two copies of the COPR and then entered my data into the system. She gave me a few leaflets about how to get a SIN and apply for a QC health card and one about my obligations as a PR. Then I was sent over to the customs person who did the whole personal effects form, which was pretty pointless since I've already lived in Quebec for 1.5 years and have had all my stuff there. Tomorrow I'll apply for RAMQ, get a SIN and sign up for one of the government-sponsored French classes.

Once again, good luck to all of you who are still waiting!
