I believe you need to have 10 posts, but you reached that limit now, so try it again and it should work!Lenchik said:Anyone knows why i am not able to send personal messages?
why in your opinion?cgnyyz said:I can see why a limitation like this makes sense...
We added about 40 pictures that we had printed (in I think 6x8) with descriptions written on the back of the prints... Then again, we haven't heard back from the visa office - so this information is probably of limited use to you. Good luck starting the process!messenger said:Hello to all and good evening from a cold Greece
As proof of our relationship (I am the sponsor outland) we are preparing also our photos. What I did is construct a Timeline for our 4 years together and placed 3 photos per page on a Word document. So far we have added around 100 photos that depict us and our families in common activities, gatherings and events.
Our question here: Would the CIC disapprove this format of photos? We have heard people in this forum mentioning they had done the same thing. The photos as we mentioned are 3 per A4 page and those nearly 40 pages will be printed in high quality color printer and next to each pic there is a caption describing the moment
please let us know if this is correct or not as this preparation has taken quite a bit of work to do so we like to know before we proceed any further
Also do you think the amount of photos that we are sending is to much?

I think that a forum with a presumably fairly large userbase and reach would be a nice target for spammers, so the rule ultimately protects the users. At the very least it's another hurdle to clear for all those princes that need a little money to access their heirloom compared to just signing up and PMing everyone...Lenchik said:why in your opinion?
i actually don't get why need to be 10 posts in order to have these extra features

Lenchik you are right i had the client who work in immigration here in windsor ontario and they told me 20 pictures is enough, dont send more than that couple of your wedding , with family and friend , and both of you guys together, dont send a lot of picture because the officer doesnt have a lot time to see pictures, if they need more they will asked.this is what she told meLenchik said:Hello,
We had sent 20 pictures. A friend of mine who studied immigration told me that it should be enough. Most important to show different places, in different clothing, better to have photos with friends and families.
In my opinion 100 is too much, but who knows maybe not.

Thank you. It's just that we are common law living in the Balkans where no such law (common law) exists and we are trying to prove our relationship as much as we can due to the fact that we do not have common ownership of land or joint accounts except only a rental agreement, some other documents and some statutory declarations.cgnyyz said:We added about 40 pictures that we had printed (in I think 6x8) with descriptions written on the back of the prints...
