Hello everyone, i am new in this forum and it,s my first post here
I am from Canada and i applied to sponsor my spouse who is living in Bosnia Sarajevo.
According to some posts here, it seems to take more time than i expected...i hope there will be a miracle for all of us

We are all in the same boat. They have reacently hired new people, the post was on their website, they were looking for people with no feelings, so for sure, we will need a lot of luck and a mericle.

If they have a lot of application they could have easily shared some work with other visa offices, but NO. This is done on purpose according to their political plan some countries get to wait longer then others .

The things that I am hearing are just hard to belive, for example that some one from August got an e-mail from Vienna, when people from June and July are still waiting witout any communication what so ever. Don't missunderstand this, I am not envious i wish everyone to get some news but jumping over people who are waiting for over 15 months or more, that makes no sanse.

People from the immigration follow this forum as well, I also think that some of them like to play with our minds.

Please spare us the conspiracy theories. Why would I lie about someone being asked for additional documents? What could I possibly gain from that?
Your depressing ideas aren't helping anyone here, we're all just trying to find peace of mind by talking about our experiences, and bringing good news.

I would also like to add that the person who received an e-mail from Vienna is applying to go to Quebec - the process is a bit different.

If that is the case, then that is discrimination against other applicants, that have applied earlier, and that proves my opinion.

As a matter of fact, I do think that. They are not doing nothing, all other visa offices process applications on time except Vienna, since we have applied they did nothing except extending processing time, and that is very hard working to reunite families, that they so claim they do. So of course, they have time to follow the forum, that is my opinion and I am entitled to an opinion.

No, I am sorry ;D, your version of truth sounds much happier - lets go with that - "don't worry be happy" , and not beeing with our loved ones for over a year is ok in your version of truth. :-\

@b4roness - He complied with the departure order, in less than 30 days. He receive a Certificate of Departure (IMM 0056B) on his return home, I have a copy. We don't have pay any extra fees, other than application and PR card.

If had failed to comply with the departure order and CBSA had to pay his removal costs then he will require an ARC and pay the $1500.00 removal cost plus the $400 ARC fee.

I also am a new member who is about to submit PR outland for my husband in Bosnia. We were denied TRV twice this summer despite mentioning his intent to start a Master's degree in late October... Does anyone know of anyone from this region who succeeded in getting a TRV during PR processing if they have proof they are in school? My local MP's office advised we retry once we are about 6 months into the PR...
Oh, ALSO, does anyone know if one can secure a job in Canada and come on a work permit WHILE a spousal PR is processing? Or would they deny it just like TRV, claiming you are "an intending immigrant married to a Canadian?" (exact wording as on our refusal) :'(

And why Vienna does not require medical or police certificate who are expired, from somebody who apply in June and require from somebody who apply in August? :

Maybe Vienna will extend medical for those applicants? Honest answer is I don't know. I just can't imagine visa offices delaying some applications on purpose. I am trying to stay positive.

The facts are as fallows:

1. Since we applied they extended processing time from 10 to 17 months.
2. In the middle of the summer, last year, they were on "strike" (so they could justify their vacation).
We have paid for their services, this is not free of charge (meaning processing our aplications on time, with out any delays, if the application is complete).
3. This summer they decided to reorganise (which ended in extending processing time, and incrising their backlog).
4. They do not respect us as their clints at all (when asked for an explanation ) we all get a copy paste massage, which states: "Processing time is.... we will contact you in due corse"...
5. They are not updating processing times on time (e-case, processing time table ).
6. Case specification enquiries is not working properly, from time to time (they disable and enable this web application how they want).
7. Today is September 21, since then, people who have applied last year (applications from Jun... ), haven't heard anything from Vienna at all.


I know that we will all get our PR's, but life doesn't wait, each day we are all losing a moment, which can never be brought back.
How many missed anneversaries and missed child births, from a child's first walk, first word, and many other things which can never be relived (you can all see this on this forum, if you google it you will find many more stories).

We are all different, and we all have different perception of how things should be done.

They didn't fake the strike, that strike happened, it wasn't an excuse for them to go to holiday. So instead of posting new-world-order-like theories, and accusing people of being the embassy spies, you should check out some facts - number of applications the Vienna office receives every year. So it's no surprise we barely hear from them - they work hard and they have new applications every day.

And I'm not here to offend you. You can believe that aliens are running the Vienna embassy, if you want, but please do not spread unnecessary panic among the folks.

But please do not defend them....They are not doing there job..It is inhuman and unprofessional what they are doing... we are applicant from July 2013, week ego my husband got e-mail: "your application is in queue for interview.....You will be informed about exact date in due in course-AT LEAST ONE MONTH PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED INTERVIEW DATE" ( My husband medical expired 3 months ego, we did send the new police certificate and supporting documents in the July 2014.) ..This is a joke..you will be informed" .. This has no meaning..in a month interview, after second medical, after passport request, until whennn !!!!??? it will be from 10 months to 22...hahaha.. They are lying, they are uncompetitive, unable to do there jobs... We all live and work in Canada, can we work this way, how long we will hold our positions.? Did any of you got word of excuse, explanation, some information,? ...No... It is not ours problem, that they have to much work..They officially posted lies, twisting the truth, changing processing time, ...They do not report to anybody, they are unorganized bunch of Canadians with Austrian origin, living comfortably in the hart of Europe, spending they vacation time traveling to Rome, France, Athens, and so on, holding positions for ever...Something else: I'm from Quebec and there is not any speeding time for us...I'm so angry, didn't see my husband from May last year, i cant have a vacation of 4 to 8 weeks, and I'm holding responsible job , manager that is responsible for "applications verifications", and because of "to much work" i was unable to take some time this year, to travel and see my husband. This is the hardest time in my life, emotionally, psychologically, economically, ... Canada as country base on human wright charter, is failing us, Canadians, and loosing reputations true it's embassy in Vienna. How i will convince my husband now, that this is democratic , fool of opportunity, organized and friendly place to live... Sincerely...

My friend applied in january for his wife living in Morocco, she got her visa first week of june All the process took less than 5 months as he was lazy to send some documents lol
